How do I fix my Web Client error, "HTTP Error 500.19 – Internal Server Error"?

This error is caused by a lack of permission or by a physical path that doesn't match the path for the virtual directory.

After the service account password is updated in AD it must also be updated in IIS for the Default Website or the parent of the QPMAdmin site.

 1. Open Internet Information Service Manager (IIS)
 2. Navigate to Default Web Site | Manage Web Site | Advanced Settings
 3. In the Advanced Settings dialogue box click on the “Physical Path Credentials” field
 4. In the “Connect As” dialogue box enter the “Path credentials“ for the specific user or else use pass through authentication.
 5. Log back into Admin site and error should be cleared.
