Is it possible to record the same camera on multiple recorders at the same time?

Although it is possible to register one camera to multiple recorders (NU, NX, NV series), i-PRO does not recommend such registration and operation.

  1. When recording the same camera with two recorders, you need to set the same settings on each recorder.
  2. If you are using an HDMI monitor with two recorders, the camera will need to send two recording streams and two streams for stream 2.
Note) The bandwidth design of the streaming must be based on camera
  3. If you perform the alarm recording by using the TCP alarm notification on each recorders, you need to set the alarm destination to destination 2 or later on the camera browser.
Note) When the camera is registered on the recorder, the recorder sets that own IP address to the camera as a destination 1. Therefore, if you register the camera on recorder 1 and then you register the camera on recorder 2, the IP address of recorder 2 will be overwritten to a destination 1 on the camera browser.
