Why do my camera settings sometimes change unexpectedly?

The settings on a network camera (such as "Stream encoding format", "Image capture size", and so on) may change to unexpected values when the camera has "User auth." set to "Off" and is connected to a Windows 10 PC (version 1903 or later). For a workaround, please refer to the following page.
