Why does my MonitorCast controller go offline after a reboot, loss of power, or loss of network?

When the controller reboots, loses power, or loses network, you can’t get the cards to work again until you reset the server or the controller.
Check for the following:
- Check board battery and cable. They might be going bad, or the battery needs to be replaced.
- The newer Mercury boards have a jumper to get the battery to work and it says you MUST move the jumper when powered down.
- During installation and while the unit is not powered, change the jumper position (J19) from OFF to ON to enable the battery backup.
