Scenario:
AI Audio Detection can recognize and detect sounds such as Yell, Glass break, Vehicle horn, Gunshots, and Other noises.
This page explains how to integrate AI Audio Detection with Genetec Security Center.

1. Audio Alarm Settings
1.1 Genetec Settings
1. Go to [Config Tool] > [Video].
2. Select target camera.
3. Selecting [Hardware] opens the Hardware screen.
4. Set [Audio alarm] and [Alarm level], then click [Apply].
1.2 Camera Settings
1. When you complete step 4 of section 1.1 on the Genetec side, the settings will be applied to the [On/Off] and [Detection Sensitivity] options under [Audio detection] on the camera.
2. Check the audio target in [AI analytics target].
Note:
If you want to detect sound that are not identified by AI, check [Other].
2. Camera Settings
1. Go to [Setup] > [Alarm] > [Notification] > [TCP alarm protocol notification].
Note:
The camera [Alarm] > [Notification] settings are automatically configured when the camera is registered with Security Center.
If alarm notifications are not received, ensure that the [Destination port] and [Destination server address] are configured correctly.
3. Genetec Settings
3.1 Event Notification Settings
Configure the settings so that alarms can be received in Security Desk.
1. Open Security Desk, and go to [Options] > [Events] > [Event options].
2. Check [Audio alarm] and [Audio analytics event], then click [Save].
3. Go to [Security Desk] > [Tasks] > [Monitoring].
4. Click [Monitoring] in the bottom-left menu, then click [+] to add the target camera.
3.2 Event-to-action Settings (Optional)
When an Audio detection event occurs, you can configure an action to be executed.
As an example, this section describes how to display alarm notifications on the [Alarm monitoring] tab.
3.2.1 Alarm Settings
1. Open [Config Tool].
2. Go to [Config Tool] > [Alarms].
3. Click [Alarm].
4. Enter "AI Audio detection" in [Name], and then click [Apply].
5. Go to the [Properties] tab.
6. Click [+] in Recipients, and select the target users. Click [Add].
7. Click [Apply].
3.2.2 Action Settings
1. In Security Center, go to [Config Tool] > [Automation] > [Actions].
2. Click [+].
3. Set the parameters as follows.
- When: Select [Audio analytics event] or [Audio alarm].
- From: Select target camera.
- Action: Select [Trigger an alarm].
- Alarm: Select the alarm you created.
Note:
Please configure either [Audio analytics event] or [Audio alarm] in [When], depending on the selected [Analytics target].
The selectable [Event] options vary depending on the camera’s [Analytics target] settings.
The correspondence between [Event] and [Analytics target] is shown in the table below.
4. Click [Save].
4. How It Works
4.1 Verifying Event Reception on the Monitoring Tab
1. Open Security Desk, go to the [Monitoring] tab.
2. When an Audio detection event occurs, an [Audio analytics event] or [Audio alarm] will appear in the [Monitoring] tab.
4.2 Verifying Alarm Reception on the Alarm Monitoring Tab
1. Open Security Desk, go to the [Alarm monitoring] tab.
2. When an Audio detection event occurs, an [AI Audio detection] alarm will appear in the [Alarm monitoring] tab.
