Why can't I register the Activation Key during the installation of WV-ASM300 when connected to a VPN?

Check if the MAC Address (Physical address) of the adapter used by the VPN is empty, and if it is empty, register the appropriate MAC Address.
Please refer to the following FAQ for more details:
WV-ASM300 does not start when connected to VPN.
If multiple VPN connections are installed, the one with an empty MAC address (physical address) may appear at the top of the list. Please disable the VPN with the blank MAC address by following the steps below, and then register the Activation Key.
[Procedure]

Click the Windows Start button, search for "Control Panel", and open it.

Select "Network and Sharing Center", then click "Change adapter settings".

Find the VPN adapter with a blank MAC address (physical address), right-click on it, and select "Disable".

Restart WV-ASM300 and register the Activation Key.

After completing the registration, repeat steps 1–3 and re-enable the VPN that was disabled in step 3.
