1. Go to AI Privacy Guard in the EXT software Manager

Select [Setup] - [-Ext.software] - [AI Privacy Guard].
Click "setup" in AI Privacy Guard.

 

2. Setup AI Privacy Guard Target Type

Select Target Type for redaction/ pixelation in the drop down.

 

3. Select Target Steam for AI Privacy

Depending on the camera, you can select which stream you want to apply the AI Privacy effect to. 
By selecting the "Target stream", this will then be sent to the VMS. 

Note: the streams must be setup properly in XProtect.

Example:
 Stream 1: AI Privacy Guard
 Stream 2: Normal

4. Select the Privacy Intensity 

Click "Setup" in "Extenssion setting" and select intensity. 

• Low = Less Blurring
• High = Maximum Blurring

 

Select the Privacy Intensity: Low  

 

Select the Privacy Intensity: Middle

 

Select the Privacy Intensity: High  

 

5. Select and Draw a specific redaction area

Click "Setup" in "Prohibited area setting".
Select and draw a specific redaction area. The drawn area will only apply the Privacy Guard.  

 

<Management Client Settings>

1. Steam Setup in XProtect Management Client

Open Management Client.
Select [Servers] - [Recording Servers] and select the target camera.
Select the [Streams] tab.
Click "Add". This will add a secondary stream.
The streams can be customized in XProtect, such as “AI Privacy”

Note: This is specific to XProtect and should be configured by the technical personnel responsible for setting up the camera and VMS.Ensure proper stream settings and security measures are applied for each user.

 

 <Smart Client Operations>

1. AI Privacy Stream in XProtect Smart Client

Open [Smart Client] and select the target camera's view.
Click "More" in the bottom right menu to select between streams.
