QxControl is built on a hybrid cloud architecture that provides the flexibility of cloud management with the resiliency of local edge processing through onsite Qx Gateways. This architecture enables organizations to securely manage cameras, doors, credentials, users, schedules, alerts, and investigations from anywhere without relying on traditional VPNs or inbound port forwarding. Local gateways continue operating during Internet outages, maintaining recording, authentication, and onsite operational continuity.
