Detection Range and Accuracy of Security Radar

Last update: December 1, 2025

When using this product, detection range and accuracy may be affected under the following conditions:

Effects from Surrounding Environment

  • False detections may occur due to movements such as grass, waves, or flags.
  • Vibrations at the installation location may increase false detections.
  • Nearby reflective objects may shorten the detection range and increase false detections.

Effects of Weather

  • Rainfall: Detection range may be shortened, and false detections may increase.
  • Fog: Detection range may be shortened, and false detections may increase.
  • Snowfall: Detection range may be shortened, and false detections may increase.
  • Low temperatures: False detections may increase.
  • High temperatures: Detection range may be shortened.

Information about the Security Radar unit

  • If the radar surface is dirty, detection range may be shortened, and false detections may increase.
  • If devices using the 60 GHz band are nearby, this product may not operate properly.
In such cases, remove the interfering device and restart the product.
  • This product may affect the operation of nearby devices that use the 60 GHz band.
  • Objects moving vertically (up or down) cannot be detected.
  • The maximum number of detectable objects at the same time is 40. Detection beyond 40 objects is not possible.
