Why does the Arecont camera not display live video on VI Monitor Plus?

When the Arecont Vision camera drivers cannot produce a live stream within VI Monitor Plus, then the Arecont RTSP/RTP driver should be used.
1. Login to VI Monitor Plus as Admin and access the camera properties menu
[Administration] → [Cameras] → [Configure Properties] → Select the camera → [General]
2. Set Manufacturer to Arecont Vision
3. Set Model to Arecont H264 RTSP/RTP
4. Save and restart the IP Server Manager Service
5. This will bring up the stream
