When I select “New” in “Detect cameras” under “Setup” in the recorder, the usernames and passwords of registered cameras are cleared.

You can restore them by selecting "Restoration of the setting values" in the System Management tab under Maintenance.
The setting values are stored for up to 3 days in the past.
Passwords will not be displayed.
This is a new function available on the NU series and some new NX models (WJ-NX310 / WJ-NX410 / WJ-NX510).
Some models are not supported, so please refer to the instruction manual for details.
