IR Imaging Features: GP-H243R / GP-H443R series

■ Simultaneous capture of visible and NIR video with a single camera.
     Independent control of visible and NIR video is enabled.

 

Our 2MOS/4MOS camera is capable of shooting on the same optical axis with a single camera, making it suitable for medical and industrial applications that require visible and NIR imaging at the same time.

  • Achieves a high frame rate of 60 fps without the need for special lighting control.
  • Independent settings can be configured for SDI 1/HDMI 1 and SDI 2/HDMI 2 outputs.
■ Diverse Image Output Support

Supports multi-screen display of four types of images on a single screen: visible images, near-infrared (NIR) images, visible/NIR spectral overlay images, and heatmap images.

Heatmap Function

  • IR images are converted into color distributions based on signal intensity and overlaid onto visible images.  
    As the IR signal level increases, the heatmap color transitions from blue to red, providing a clear visual representation of intensity differences.
Focus Position Correction for Visible and Near-Infrared Light.

Due to differences in lens specifications for visible light and the wavelength characteristics of near-infrared (NIR) light, focus shift may occur in NIR images when the system is focused on RGB imaging.  

To address this issue, the sensor bonding position of the NIR channel within the camera head is adjusted to align the focal points of both visible and infrared light when using the customer's lens.

Dual IR Features: GP-H343M series (Upcoming Product)

  • Our camera non-invasively visualizes oxygen saturation near the surface of the body in real time using two infrared wavelengths, without the need for dyes or drugs. It is valuable for assessing blood flow and detecting postoperative suture failure.
  • Dual IR Function: IR images are converted into color distributions based on signal intensity and overlaid onto visible images. As the IR signal level increases, the heatmap color transitions from blue to red, providing a clear visual representation of intensity differences.
  • Intended Use
    - Visualization of oxygen saturation  
    - Support for diagnostic assessment of tissue blood flow and perfusion conditions

    The risk of suture failure during surgery is approximately 10%.
     
  • Using two infrared wavelengths, oxygen saturation near the body surface can be visualized non-invasively and in real time without the use of dyes or drugs.
 

One Platform for All

  • With a multi-head compatible system, the camera head can be easily changed in the operating room according to the application.
  • All cameras, from 4K 1MOS to 4K 4MOS and 2K 3MOS models, can be connected to a single CCU (Camera Control Unit).
  • Each surgical procedure requires specific system configurations. However, as the variety and complexity of these systems increase, so does the burden on medical staff.
  • Typically, these cameras require dedicated CCUs for each configuration.
  • By addressing the diverse needs of the medical field, this system contributes to improved operational efficiency and enhances the quality of surgical procedures.
