Problem Description
The customer’s IT group manages their network and the communication across the system. Network ports are blocked unless permission has been granted.
What port does the WV-CU980 network controller use to communicate with the WV-ASM300 client software?
The CU980 will communicate to the ASM300 on TCP port 7401
When ASM300 is installed, this port will be allowed through the Windows Firewall.
If there are any other firewalls or Access Control Lists of concern, then this port communication will require permission to traverse the network.
