Why won't VI Monitor Plus connect to the IP Server even though everything seems to be fine?

VI Monitor Plus is unable to connect to the IP Server even though the correct address is being used and the VI service is running.

If everything appears to be in working order but you still can’t connect to the IP Server, consider restarting the VI service.

  - On the VI server, open the IP Server Manager → [Server Configuration]
  - Stop the service
   - Wait until the Status shows “IP Server is stopped”
  - Start the service
  - Login again using VI Monitor Plus
