Easy Installation function in multi-sensor cameras WV-X8571N and WV-S8531N

This article provides the information about the [Easy Installation] function in the following multi-sensor cameras: WV-X8571N / WV-S8531N.
What is the [Easy Installation] function?:
It automatically adjusts the zoom ratio according to the user-selected camera layout and shooting range.
Condition for using [Easy Installation]:
[Easy Installation] is available only when the vertical (TILT) angle of the cameras shooting the horizontal direction is the most upward (80 degree).
In other cases, adjust the zoom (and focus) manually as zoom (and focus) adjustment does not work as intended.
Behavior of [Easy Installation]:
It roughly adjusts the zoom ratio to:
- eliminate the overlapping areas on the horizontally-arranged images
- display the horizontally-arranged images in continuous view, in the selected shooting range 360 degree, 270 degree or 180 degree
Guide for continuous view :
1. In case of a camera installed at approx. 6 meter high:
- [Easy Installation] roughly adjusts the zoom ratio to display the subjects more than 9 meter ahead as a continuous view.
2. In case of a camera installed at approx. 3 meter high:
- [Easy Installation] roughly adjusts the zoom ratio to display the subjects more than 4.5 meter ahead as a continuous view.

Manual fine-tuning of zoom ratio may be required depending on the camera installation height and the distance to a subject:
- To adjust the zoom to the subject near the camera: decrease the zoom ratio by pressing the minus(-) button.
- To adjust the zoom to the subject far from the camera: increase the zoom ratio by pressing the plus(+) button.
