i-PRO Completes Takeover of Japan Wholesale and Marketing Functions for i-PRO Products from Panasonic Connect
Strengthening Sales Operations to Drive Business Growth
Tokyo, Japan – March 31, 2026 – i-PRO Co., Ltd., a global leader in professional security, public safety and medical applications, today announced the completion of the takeover and integration of the wholesale and marketing functions for i-PRO products in the Japanese market from Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd., as originally announced on October 23, 2025.
As part of this transition, i-PRO has further strengthened its domestic sales structure with the establishment of new sales offices in Osaka and Nagoya.
With the completion of the necessary procedures, the sales and marketing functions for i-PRO products in Japan previously handled by Panasonic Connect have been fully transferred to i-PRO. Employees engaged in the relevant operations have joined i-PRO effective today. Beginning April 1, approximately 500 dealers in Japan that previously procured i-PRO products through Panasonic Connect as a wholesaler (reseller) will conduct business directly with i-PRO. (*1)
With this integration, i-PRO has established a fully integrated structure encompassing development, manufacturing, and sales. This will enable closer collaboration across functions, enhance competitiveness, and support continued business growth in the Japanese market.
(*1) Contracts with end-users purchasing through Panasonic Connect or Electric Works Company (Panasonic Corporation) will remain unchanged.
