i-PRO begins operations at new Saga Factory in Japan

New facility begins shipping made-in-Japan security cameras to customers worldwide

Tokyo, Japan, October 1, 2025i-PRO Co., Ltd. (formerly a division of Panasonic), a global leader in professional security and public safety solutions, today announced the start of operations at its new manufacturing facility in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, Japan. The Saga Factory will serve as a core production hub, enabling i-PRO to manufacture a wide range of security camera products, reduce delivery times, and increase production flexibility.

 

This investment strengthens i-PRO’s ability to meet global demand with highly reliable products while preserving the quality and innovation long associated with Japanese manufacturing.

 

At the opening ceremony, held with local officials and employees, Keizo Yamaguchi, Chief Manufacturing Officer at i-PRO, said: “Watching the first shipment leave Saga is a powerful moment for our team. This facility underscores our commitment to producing high-performance, high-quality products in Japan for customers worldwide. Together, we are building a world-class factory that reflects both our heritage and our future ambitions.”

 

The Saga Factory employs approximately 140 staff and will initially produce about 14,000 units per month, with plans to scale to 40,000 units per month by fiscal year 2028.
