Tokyo, Japan, October 8, 2024 – i-PRO Co., Ltd. (formerly a division of Panasonic), a global leader in professional security and public safety solutions, today announced that it is providing sponsorship for the “null2” (pronounced “nurunuru”) Signature Pavilion (theme: “Forging Lives”) by Thematic Project Producer and media artist OCHIAI Yoichi at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter, “the Expo”), which has the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
i-PRO offers advanced sensing technologies and highly reliable solutions to handle all environments, based on the vision to “be a team that build a safer and more peaceful world through continuous innovation.” The Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and the subtheme “Saving Lives” align closely with i-PRO’s vision and business. We decided to offer our support to assist OCHIAI Yoichi’s efforts to create new value in the social implementation of Mirrored Body🄬 (the application that generates your own virtual avatar) and digital ID, as deployed at null2.
i-PRO will contribute to the Signature Pavilion, which will communicate the shape of our future society from the Expo site of Yumeshima, Osaka in 2025, and to the secure and safe operation of null2.
■ Signature Pavilions
The Signature Project will be held from pavilions located in the center of the Expo venue that are led by the eight producers. These pavilions are called Signature Pavilions. The Signature Pavilions and Signature Events will offer a variety of experiences combining the real and virtual worlds, encouraging all visitors to explore life and update their idea of life.
