Problem Description
When activating the vaxtor ext software in the Camera web interface using the product key error throws as “Fatal Error 21 – Application Aborted”
This error occurs when the camera is unable to communicate with the vaxtor’s licensing site online.
Camera must be able to communicate directly to the internet (Not the machine the user is on, but the camera). Make sure IP Address, Gateway, Subnet and DNS are all filled out properly in the camera web interface.
If Customer changed VLAN, they would need to look at their network.
Licenses can be redeemed in 2 ways:
Case 1. Online
Camera must have access to https://licensing.vaxtor.com
1. Type or copy in the provided Product Key
2. Select the Disk icon to submit the Product Key
Case 2. Offline
1. Select Get C2V. This saves a c2v file to your computer’s Download Directory.
2. Upload and generate the V2C at https://licensing.vaxtor.com using your product key to login
3. Select Upload V2C and browse to the V2C file to upload it
Note:
If the V2C file does not work, need to contact Vaxtor for getting a new V2C file and upload on the camera.
