Can I assign multiple functions to one button on WV-CU980?

No, it’s not possible on WV-CU980 side, but it is possible to assign another function by recognizing the ON / OFF of the Shift button on the side that receives the command from the WV-CU980.
Unlike WV-CU950, WV-CU980 does not have function buttons to which you can assign additional functions.
Therefore on the receiving side, when a command to press a certain button on CU980 is received, it can determine if a button is pressed with the shift button or not, and assign different function to each.
e.g. WV-CU980 sends the following commands
・When the shift button is pressed / released → Sends On / Off command of shift button
・When the 1-screen button is pressed / released → Sends On / Off command of 1-screen button
Configure to work in the side that a command is received as follows :
・When receiving a command with shift “Off” and 1-screen “On” → Switches to 1-screen mode
・When receiving a command with shift “On” and 1-screen “On” → Starts another function assigned
