How to use sample application

Without camera and Active Guard server

Without camera and i-PRO Active Guard server, you can see how people/vehilce search and playback video work using sample data. Face and license plate search are not supported.

Run sample application "ActiveGuard.Plugins.OSS.SampleApp.exe".
Open workspace for search and click search button.
Click the image and playback video will start.

Note

If sample images cannot be searched, try to adjust date and time field as shown below.
Date: From yesterday until tomorrow (this image assumes that today is 12th March).
Time: 0:00:00-23:59:59

How to add sample data (advanced)

Depending on the image and video data you want to use, you can add sample images and video files to be used on sample application.

Put the image into "SampleData\Thumbs"
Put the mp4 file into "SampleData\Videos"
Create xml file in "SampleData\TextData" based on existing one. XML file name must be mathced with that of png image.
Edit xml file.<VideoFileName>, <StartFrom> and any attributes to be searched.
Check the image will be shown and playback starts

Note

Only png format is supported for image. MP4 format is supported for video.

With camera and Active Guard server

With camera and i-PRO Active Guard server, you can see all functionalities except playback video.

About installation of camera’s extension software and i-PRO Active Guard server,
refer to manual of each software.

When registering camera to i-PRO Active Guard server, you can register by "Add manually" from web.

Run sample application "ActiveGuard.Plugins.OSS.SampleApp.exe".
Configure connections. Input i-PRO Active Guard server information, click "Test" and "Save".
Open workspace for search.

Basic features and operation are similar to i-PRO's own VMS, but not exactly the same for some features.
