Our cameras include robust security features to meet the needs of customers who comply with a range of cybersecurity frameworks.

Pre-installed signed Certificates (GlobalSign®)

i-PRO was the first company in the security industry to provide a pre-installed signed certification by a 3rd party certificate authority (GlobalSign®).
Data is encrypted by SSL with pre-installed certified keys, which prevents snooping and alteration.

FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified Secure Element

FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) are standards and guidelines for federal computer systems that are developed by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Our latest models of i-PRO network cameras are equipped with a tamper-resistant Secure Element, which can generate and store cryptographic FIPS 140-2 Level 3 algorithms used to authenticate access to the device.

NDAA compliant

i-PRO is proud to confirm that our products are compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). i-PRO doesn’t use any manufacturers, system on chip (SoCs), or any other components that have been banned under section 889 of the NDAA.

Durability for harsh environments

As the need for physical security grows, video cameras are increasingly being installed outdoors to enhance protection in industrial sectors and public spaces. i-PRO has shipped the largest number of outdoor vandal-resistant cameras in the security camera industry.

IK10 Vandal resistant

Vandal resistance is one of the most important features of security cameras. An IK10 rating indicates that the camera has a superior level of resistance against impact. All i-PRO outdoor cameras comply with an IK10 rating or higher, providing protection from physical damage.

Corrosion resistant

Salt-resistant models include a special coating on the camera body and screws, which provide corrosion protection in the harshest salt-air conditions.

Excellent visibility at all times

i-PRO’s ClearSight coating repels water drops from the dome cover during rainstorms, ensuring a clear image at any time of day.

Durable at any temperature

i-PRO provides industry-leading temperature durability. Our outdoor cameras are built to withstand extremes from -50 to 55 degrees Celsius (-58 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit). i-PRO achieves this with built-in 45 thousand-hour long-life cooling fans, built-in power-saving heaters, and more.

Reduced Bandwidth

Streamlining the total cost of a surveillance system

i-PRO's Smart Coding technology and AI-assisted image enhancement work together to reduce the overall cost of a video surveillance system and accompanying infrastructure. Bandwidth is decreased significantly by determining the priority level of target scenes and objects and efficiently allocating data capacity.

ROI (Region of Interest)

ROI reduces bit rate via AI object detection by using Smart VIQS to assign different data rates to important and non-important areas., Smart P Picture Control can further compress images by skipping the encoding of non-object detected areas.

GOP Control

GOP control adjusts the length of the Group of Pictures (GOP) based on object detection. It shortens the GOP length in scenes with detected objects for better random accessibility and extends it in scenes without detected objects to reduce the bit rate.
