NOTE :
This document shows the verification information with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1(32bit/ 64bit) and Windows 7 (32bit/ 64bit)
We have no future plan to test other models which are not listed on this document (Discontinued models / End of sales models).
* This result is based on our factory test, so depend on your PC, OS update, etc, phenomenon may different.
* The expected support date is plan at Feb 2015. Thank you for your understanding if changed the support date.
Applicable OS Edition
- Windows 8.1 :All editions except RT edition. (Some models are supported only on limited edition)
- Windows 7 : All editions except Starter. (Some models are supported only on limited edition)
User Interface
Windows 8.1 : Work only on "Classic UI design". Cannot work on "Modern UI design".
Pre configuration
- Add the IP-address to "Add this website" in " Compatibility View Settings"
If you do not set as Compatibility View Setting, layout of screen image may be broken.
- Procedure : Start Internet Explorer 11→[Tools], click [Compatibility View settings],add the IP-address in [ Add this website] colomn
NOTE :
1. If plug in software cannot be installed, disable [SmartScreen Filter].
- Procedure : Start Internet Explorer 11→[Tools], click "SmartScreen Filter", select "Turn off SmartScreen Filter..."
And then select the [Turn off SmartScteen Filter]
2. If plug in software cannot be installed or images are not appeared, disable "ActiveX Filtering"
- Procedure : Start Internet Explorer 11→[Tools], take
off "ActiveX Filtering"
3. The following function might not work.
- Audio function
- Save/Print function at snap shot. ( can not find archived JPEG file on Internet explorer)
- Download JPEG from SD memory card function

3. When uploading firmware, file name cannot be typed.
Click "Browse..."button →choose file on "Choose File to Upload"
* This restriction came from specification change since Internet Explorer 8.
Supplimentary note
*1. The result is based on Internet Explore 11 (32bit), and Internet Explorer 11 (64bit) is not applicable.
*2. Support edition is Pro (Professional)
*3. Full screen mode does not activate normally
*4. Can not record the image in SD memory card to PC from setting menu.
*5. Can not use the camera control function, (Zoom/ Focus/ brightness/ control pad)
*6. The viewer software that is included in CD is also supported.
*7. Next image function and preview image function do not work.
*8. If changed display many times, the display might be gone. If happened, please reboot the NW camera
*9. Multi play function does not work.
*10. Can not playback the audio after you stop the playback like pause and reverse at recorded image with audio.
If happened, please reboot the NW camera
*11. If you can not upload the firmware, please set the followings.
[ Internet options ] -> [ Security ] -> [ Custom level... ] -> [ Include local directory path when uploading files to a server ] -> Enable
*12. Using 2 video cards is out of guaranteed operating range.
(i.e.) If video card has 4 monitor output, you can design the system only the following case.
No1. operating monitor and map monitor and live monitor1 and live monitor2
No2. operating monitor and live monitor1 and live monitor2 and live monitor3
*13. Refresh of the image may be delayed or the image may be displayed intermittently If you set the camera at a high frame rate and high image quality.
We recommend that you use the PC described in the spec. as follow If you are using the settings like the example as follow

Image capture size 1920x1080, Frame rate 60fps, Bit rate 4096kbps
Image capture size 1280x720, Frame rate 60fps, Bit rate 3072kbps
Image capture size 1280x720, Frame rate 30fps, Bit rate 2048kbps (Multi-screen 4-screen)

CPU: intel Core i7 6700 or greater
Main memory: 8GB dual channel (4GB x2) or more
*14. Cannot playback H.265 files on SD memory card. Please access them while SD memory card is mounted on the camera, instead.
*15. Refresh of the image may be delayed or the image may be displayed intermittently If you set the camera at a high frame rate and high image quality.
We recommend that you use the PC described in the spec. as follow If you are using the settings like the example as follow

(1) Image capture size 2192x2192, Frame rate 30fps, Bit rate 6144kbps
(2) Image capture size 2992x2992, Frame rate 20fps or faster (WV-X4171, WV-X4170, WV-X4571l/LM only)
[PC Specifications]
CPU: intel Core i7 6700 or greater
Main memory: 8GB dual channel (4GB x2) or more
Note: For the above (2), please select “Hardware” at “Decoding Option” of “Viewer software (nwcv4Ssetup.exe)” in “Basic” tab.
Please refer to the “Operating Instructions” for more details.
*16. For the Internet Explorer, live images from the camera, SD recorded images, etc. will NOT be displayed if the memory area necessary for video display cannot be reserved.
Please try that quitting the Internet Explorer once and access the camera after 3 minuets, or restart your PC and so on.
If you experience frequently after the above, it may solve by reducing the use of memory area such as making one live image display, by decreasing the image capture size or by decreasing the bit rate of the camera.
*17. The browser that displaying and setting the camera image, to be restarted periodically.
Or, the browser may not operate correctly if you use it for video display or operation of a high-resolution camera continuously.
