What should I do when "HDD hour meter warning" is displayed in NX recorder?
- Network Recorders
- Troubleshooting
“HDD hour meter warning” means that HDD operation time of NX recorder reaches the specified period of time (default : 20000 hours). If it reaches 20000 hours, we recommend to replace the HDDs with new ones in NX recorder.
You can cancel the warning as below:
- On the status display panel, click [ Error ] button and then [ Reset ] button.
Note:
"HDD hour meter warning" is displayed again when NX recorder is rebooted.
You can delay the warning occurrence by select a larger value at "HDD hour meter warning".
When you continue to use HDDs over 20000 hours, NX recorder can easily go down.
So we recommend that you replace HDDs in good time to prevent troubles with recording, or loss of images stored on the HDD.
