Why does the Avigilon camera not show live video on VI Monitor Plus?

You tried tried to add an Avigilon camera to VI Monitor Plus but is shows a disconnected symbol and does not show a live image on VI Monitor Plus.
There are a number of factors that may lead to this issue. One of these suggestions may help to resolve the issue:
- Remove the Avigilon Camera from the Avigilon NVR first, otherwise no third-party software can pull the RTSP Stream.
- Register the camera using Universal Camera Support and test the RTSP URL found within the Avigilon Camera Web-GUI.
- Register the Avigilon camera as ONVIF with ONVIF Profile T.
- Restart the IP Server if needed.
