The Security Radar not only detects objects but also tracks movement paths and triggers alerts when objects enter designated zones. Its seamless integration with i-PRO Edge-AI PTZ cameras enables automatic tracking smoothly.

Wide Area Detection

With a 180° horizontal detection coverage, i-PRO Security Radar can detect objects up to 100 meters (328 ft) for vehicles and up to 70 meters (230 ft) for people, enabling comprehensive area monitoring.
This wide coverage allows effective monitoring of a large area with fewer devices compared with infrared light and tension sensors, helping to reduce overall system costs.
i-PRO Security Radar can distinguish detected objects, such as humans, vehicles, and others, and triggers alerts when they enter designated zones.
Detected objects are displayed as icons on the radar map, allowing security personnel to instantly verify targets from the control room.


High-Accuracy to Minimize False Alarms

i-PRO’s Advanced 60GHz Security Radar utilizes Phased Array*1 and FMCW*2 technologies, which are commonly used in air traffic control radar and autonomous driving systems to deliver high-precision detection.
The security radar distinguishes between people, vehicles, and other objects, enabling high-precision detection even in challenging conditions such as rain, snow, fog, or low-light environments.
For deployment in coastal or corrosive environments, heavy salt-damage resistant models are available for both Security Radar and Edge-AI PTZ Cameras, enabling coordinated and robust security monitoring in harsh outdoor conditions.*3

*1 Phased Array is a technology that arranges multiple antenna elements and electronically controls the direction of the beam. It enables rapid beam scanning and concentration in specific directions, allowing for highly accurate detection.
*2 FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) is a radar method that calculates distance based on the frequency difference between the transmitted wave and the reflected wave. It enables highly accurate measurement of both distance and speed.
*3 Sea surface detection is not supported.

Seamless integration with Edge-AI PTZ cameras

The Edge-AI PTZ cameras receive location data from the security radar, allowing them to automatically and smoothly track detected objects.
This automatic tracking and zooming capability ensure that critical moments can be recorded while minimizing false alarms.
The security radar can be configured to designate specific detection zones and target object types, providing flexible options for various detection scenarios.
Additionally, the i-PRO security radar supports integration with up to four Edge-AI PTZ cameras without the need for any additional servers, enhancing overall cost efficiency.
The Security Radar also integrates seamlessly with leading VMSs such as Milestone, Genetec, VideoInsight™ and more. It is fully compatible with Genetec’s Restricted Security Area (RSA) surveillance module and operates smoothly within the Genetec VMS environment.
