1.1 Installation of the Restricted Security Area Surveillance Plugin

For installation procedures, refer to the Genetec™ Restricted Security Area Surveillance API Quick Start Guide, section Installer le module externe Restricted Security Area Surveillance.

 Important:

• A valid license is required to use the RSA plugin. Refer to [RSA Surveillance Integration Licensing Options] for details on obtaining a license.
• Verify that [Restricted Security Area Surveillance] is listed under [About] > [Certificates].
• In case that the RSA Surveillance Plugin does not work properly, please confirm the status of activated licenses.
  Only one license should be activated.
  If multiple licenses are installed like the following image, it will not work properly.

 

1.2 Creating the Restricted Security Area Surveillance plugin role

1.3 Connecting the RSA Surveillance plugin to Security Center clients

For Connecting the RSA Surveillance plugin to Security Center clients procedures, refer to the Genetec™ Restricted Security Area Surveillance API Quick Start Guide, section [Connecting the RSA Surveillance plugin to Security Center clients].

1.4 Installation of Docker

For Docker installation procedures, refer to [EN. Docker Engine Installation Guide.pdf].

In addition, make sure to configure the log file rotation settings.
Double click on docker icon on the task bar and goes to [settings] and [docker engine].

Edit the content and replace it by:

Apply and wait untill docker engine is restarting. 

1.5 Installation of Inter-System Gateway (ISG)

For ISG installation procedures, refer to the Inter-System Gateway Configuration Guide 1.2, section [Installing the Inter-System Gateway Service].

 

2. Adding the Driver Container to Inter-System Gateway

2.1 Adding the Driver Container

1. Navigate to [Containers] > [Docker Engine] and select [+ Add driver container].
2. Under [Driver], select [IPro].
3. Once all other necessary settings are completed, click [Add].

 

3. Adding a Device

1. Navigate to [Communication] > [Devices], then click [+]  icon to Add a new device.

 

2. In the Add/Edit Device window, enter the necessary camera information and click [Save].

 

4. Adding the Driver Container as a Tracking System in Security Center

For detailed procedures, refer to Inter-System Gateway Configuration Guide 1.2, section [Adding the Driver Container as a Tracking System in Security Center].

Note: If the driver container does not appear in the Tracking Systems model during Step 6, check the following in the ISG browser:

 

 

1. Ensure that [+] RMQ instance is set in [ISG RabbitMQ Output] > [RMQ Servers Failover].

2. Verify that the [Active] and [Status] indicators are displayed in green after addition.
