Camera Registration

Scenario: This page explains how to register cameras with HxGN dC3 Video.

1.1 Auto Registration
1. Open [Video Client].
2. Go to [Configuration mode], then click [Find devices].
3. The system will start detecting devices automatically.
4. Once the devices are detected, select the checkbox on the left and configure the following settings:
- Manufacturer: i-PRO/Panasonic
- Type: i-PRO/Panasonic Smart Driver (H.264/H.265 Generation)
- Username: Camera user ID
- Password: Camera password
- Record On Motion: Check this box if you want to record event-based. You can also activate this later.
- Add with multiconfig: Keep this checked (defaut: on)
- Validate settings before device creation: Keep this checked (default: on)
After entering all the fields, click [Add] to complete the registration.
5. The cameras will be added to the camera tree on the right side of the screen.
1.2 Manual Registration
1. Go to [Configuration mode], then click [Create camera].
2. Configure the following settings, then click [OK] to register the camera:
- Name: Enter a name
- Manufacturer: i-PRO/Panasonic
- Type: i-PRO/Panasonic Smart Driver (H.264/H.265 Generation)
- Use authorization: Select this option (enabled by default)
- Username: Camera user ID
- Password: Camera password
- Host (IP address or name): Camera IP address
- Port: 80
- DeviceManager: Select the target DeviceManager
- Validate settings before device creation: Keep this checked (default: on)
3. The camera will be added to the camera tree on the right side of the screen.
