i-PRO Active Guard Integration with Luxriot

Scenario:
The combination of i-PRO Active Guard and Luxriot EVO ensures that users can search through camera shots and receive alarms triggered by specific watchlists.
You can use the AI applications (AI People / AI Vehicle / AI Face) to perform attribute searches.
This guide explains how to set up i-PRO Active Guard with Luxriot EVO.

Preparation
・An AI camera with AI People / AI Vehicle / AI Face applications installed and set up
1. Luxriot EVO Management Console Configuration
1.1 Create a Group for External Services
Open the Luxriot EVO Management Console and click [Configuration] > [External services] > [+ New external service group].
[Title] is optional; click [Apply] to create the group.
1.2 Register the i-PRO Active Guard Server
In the [New external service group] drop-down menu, click [New Active Guard service].
Enter each item in [Details]:
• Title: Optional
• Enable: Check the box
• Group: Select optionally (the group created in 1.1 Create a Group for External Services)
• Host: Address of the i-PRO Active Guard Server PC
• Port: 8090
• User Name: User name of the i-PRO Active Guard Server
• Set Password: Password of the i-PRO Active Guard Server
After entering all items, click [Apply].
1.3 Check the Object ID of i-PRO Active Guard
Open the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the Luxriot EVO Management Console window and click [Settings].
Go to [General] > [Show Object IDs] and check the box.
The Object ID for i-PRO Active Guard will now be displayed.
In this image, 329 is the Object ID for i-PRO Active Guard.
Note: This Object ID will be used in 2.3 Edit the Config File.
2. i-PRO Active Guard Configuration
2.1 Install the i-PRO Active Guard Server
As with other VMS, download and install the i-PRO Active Guard Server from the i-PRO website.

Note: Unlike Genetec or Milestone, Luxriot does not require a dedicated plugin.
2.2 Register Luxriot
In a browser, open the i-PRO Active Guard Server (https://localhost:8092) and add the VMS server.
Open [Register VMS] > [Add].
Enter the VMS information.
• Type: Luxriot EVO 1.26.0 or later
• IP address: Address of the Luxriot PC
• WEB API Port: 8080 (default)
• Notification URL (*): Click [config file] and edit the Object ID (2.3 Edit the Config File)
• SSL: Off (default)
• User name: Luxriot user name
• Password: Luxriot password
After completing the input, click [Test], and if [Succeeded] is displayed, click [Save].
If [Authorization error] is displayed, the input contains an error.
After clicking [Save], the i-PRO Active Guard configuration screen will appear as follows.
2.3 Edit the Config File
Click the underlined [config file] to edit the Object ID.
Luxriot_notification_url = "/clientApi/externalServices/xxx/pushExternalServiceData"
Replace xxx with the Object ID of i-PRO Active Guard, and click [Save].

Note: Without this configuration, alarms will not be notified.
2.4 Add Cameras
Once the linkage between the i-PRO Active Guard Server and Luxriot is established, add the cameras registered in Luxriot.
The procedure for adding cameras is the same as with other VMS.
1. Click [Register Cameras] > [Add devices] > [Camera(s) from VMS].
2. Load the cameras registered in the VMS that was added in 2.2 Register Luxriot.
Enter the camera information in [User Name] and [Password], then click [Check].
3. When the AI alarm icon is displayed in [Check result], click [Save].
4. After the cameras have been registered, click [Restart] at the top of the page.
3. Luxriot EVO Monitor Configuration
3.1 Register the i-PRO Active Guard Server
1. Open Luxriot EVO Monitor and click [Edit] > [Video Analytics Connections].
2. Click [Add].
3. Enter the information of the i-PRO Active Guard Server
• Server title: Enter any name
• IP address: The address of the i-PRO Active Guard Server PC
• Port: 8090
• User name: The user name of the i-PRO Active Guard Server
• User password: The password of the i-PRO Active Guard Server
4. After clicking [Save], the [VA Investigation] tab menu will appear.
4. Alarm Notification Using Watchlists
4.1 Register Watchlists
Register the watchlist of the object for which you want to receive alarm notifications.
In this explanation, the watchlist is set as [Vehicle], with [Vehicle type] = [Bus] and [Vehicle color] = [White].
1. Select the thumbnail of the image to be registered.
2. Click the car icon button.
3. In the [New Registration for watchlist] dialog, enter any name in [Name] and click [Register].
4. Click [+ Setup watchlists] to open the [Watchlists Setup] dialog.
5. Click [Vehicles]. The watchlist you created in step 3 will be added to [Saved watchlists] on the left. Select it and check the details.
4.2 Load Watchlists
1. Open the Luxriot EVO Management Console, select [External services], choose the service registered in 3.1 Register the i-PRO Active Guard Server and click [Edit].
2. Go to the [Events] tab and click the [+New] button.
3. Enter any name for [Event name].
From the [Alarm type] dropdown, select [People / Vehicle / Face watchlist detection].
4. Open [Change...] in [Watchlist].
5. The [Watchlist] window appears.
6. In the window, select the watchlist under [Available] on the right, and move it to [Selected] on the left by clicking [Add].
7. Close the watchlist window with [OK]. If [Watchlist] has changed from [none], click [Apply changes] and confirm that the watchlist appears in Events on the right.
4.3 Create an Event
1. Click [Events & Actions] > [Events] > [+ New event] > [External service].
2. After entering each item, click [Apply] to save the settings.
• Title: Enter any name
• Source: Select the target camera
• Service group: Select the Group created in 1.1 Create a Group for External Services
• Target event: Select the watchlist loaded in 4.2 Load Watchlists

4.4 Create an Action
1. Create an action for when an event occurs.
Click [Actions] > [+ New action].
In this guide, [Send event to client] is used as an example, but you may create any type of action as needed.
2. Enter any values for [Title] and [Message], and check [Display event in alerts], [Display a warning message box], and [Display event in notification panel].
After entering each item, click [Apply] to save the settings.
3. After clicking [Apply], the configured action will be added.
4.5 Create a Rule
1. Click [Events & Actions] > [Rules] > [Open configurator].
2. Configure the event created in 4.3 Create an Event.
3. Configure the action created in 4.4 Create an Action, and then click [OK].
4.6 Check Alarm Notifications on Monitor
When an object registered in a watchlist is detected, a pop-up window will be displayed.
The alarm is also displayed in the [Alerts] tab and recorded in the log.
5. Search
You can use the AI applications (AI People / AI Vehicle / AI Face) to perform attribute searches and event searches.
In this explanation, AI Vehicle is used as an example.
5.1 Searching Watchlist Events
1. Select the [VA Investigation] tab > [Event].
In the filter tab, select [Time range] and [Cameras], enable the [Registered vehicle detection] filter, and click [Search].
Additionally, in the [Registered vehicle detection] filter, you can further refine the search by using the registered watchlist.
2. A list of events that match the conditions will be displayed.
3. You can play a recording by clicking on the thumbnail.
5.2 Searching a Vehicle by Attribute
1. Select [VA Investigation] tab > [Forensic] and set the date, camera, and Vehicle filter options, then click Search.
With the Vehicle filter enabled, only the thumbnails of vehicles detected by the AI Camera using the vehicle detection application are shown.
Also, by using the filter panel, you can apply additional search conditions.
2. You can also search by photo. Click [Detect object].
3. Upload a photo and select a detected vehicle from the list.
Click [OK]. Attributes are automatically detected.
4. The search results matching the criteria will be displayed in a list.
5. You can play a recording by clicking on the thumbnail.
