This guide explains the procedure for using the Free text search of i‑PRO Active Guard in Genetec Security Center.

Free text search:
Powered by generative AI, this feature allows you to perform flexible searches using Free text queries based on best shots and their attribute information.
*It is available from i-PRO Active Guard Plug-in v3.0 or later.

Free text search utilizes AI attribute information (best shots) generated by the camera.
Please use i‑PRO AI cameras with AI People Detection or AI Vehicle Detection enabled.

2. i-PRO Active Guard Server Settings

This section describes a server configuration that leverages the features of the i-PRO Active Guard Plug-in.

1. Access the [i-PRO Active Guard] Server.
   https://<IP>:8092
2. The [Free text search] option is displayed under [Enabled camera].
Select the checkbox for the applicable camera, then click [Save] and [Restart].

 

3. How to Works

1. Start [Security Desk].
2. Go to [Tasks] > [i-PRO Active Guard Search].

 

3. In this section, Free text search for Vehicle is used as an example.
Click [Cameras].
Under [Refine filters] > [Find camera by filters], check [Free Text] under [Vehicle].
When you select [Free Text], [i-PRO Server] and the corresponding camera are automatically selected.

 

4. Set Vehicle to [On] in the [Filter].
Click [Free text] and enter the attribute to search for in the [Match] field.
Enter "White Bus", then click [Search].
The thumbnail images are displayed in the list.
