6Set the camera

This section explains how to adjust the image quality when installing the Security Radar.
Use [Light control mode] to set the appropriate amount of light for the installation location and region.
Live image pages settings pane>Clicking [Quality] allows you to make settings related to the image quality.
1.
Select the [Light control mode]
-
For outdoor installations: Set the [ELC].
Use [White balance] to set the appropriate white balance for the installation location and region.
Live image pages settings pane>[Detailed setting]>[Advanced settings page] for [Detailed setting]>[Image], or [Image/Audio] in the Advanced menu on the left>[Image adjust] in the [Quality]>Clicking [Advanced settings] displays the screen for setting the image quality.
1.
Select [White balance]
Choose between [ATW1], [ATW2], and [AWC].
[ATW1]
Set to automatic color temperature tracking mode. The camera continually checks the color temperature of the light source and adjusts white balance automatically.
The operating range is approximately 2700 K~6000 K.
[ATW2]
Set to automatic color temperature tracking mode. The camera automatically adjusts the white balance under sodium lighting, etc.

The operating range is approximately 2000 K~6000 K.
[AWC]
Set to automatic white balance control mode. Because the light source is fixed, this mode is suitable for shooting in areas where the lighting environment does not change.

The operating range is approximately 2000 K~10000 K.
[Notice]
If the following conditions are met, colors may not be reproduced faithfully. If this happens, set it to [AWC].

・Object, mostly dark

・Clear blue sky or the sun at dusk

・Object with too low illumination

Use [Day & Night(electrical)] to switch to color images or black-and-white images when shooting at night.
Live image pages settings pane>Clicking [Quality] allows you to make settings related to the image quality.
1.
Select the [Day & Night(electrical)]
[Auto]、[Off]Please select from.
[Auto]
Switches to black and white images when the ambient brightness (illumination) is less than or equal to approximately 1.0 lx. Note that it takes some time for the image to change.
[Off]
Use this mode when you want to capture color images even at night.
You can specify the position at which the uploaded image is overlaid, or you can specify a color to make it transparent. On models that support SD Memory Card recording, the overlaid images are recorded.
Please refer to the user manual for details on how to set.
Live image pages settings pane>[Detailed setting]>[Advanced settings page] for [Detailed setting]>[Basic] in the Advanced menu on the left>Set in the [Overlay Image] tabbed page.
1.
Set [Overlay] to [On] and select images.
2.
Configuring [Position], [Permeation], and [Selection of color to be penetrated]
3.
By clicking the [Set]
Specify whether streaming should be performed, whether the compression method is H.265 or H.264, the Image capture size and image quality, and how the streaming should be performed.
Live image pages settings pane>This is done in the [Stream numbers] tab.. H.265 images and H.264 images are streamed in the [Stream numbers] section of the [Stream numbers].
For information on image compression methods, see the following:
6.3.3 Reducing Data Capacity with Smart Coding
For information on how to deliver, see the following:
6.3.2 Distribution volume control (bit rate)
For details on each setting method, refer to the user manual.
There are the following types of delivery modes for stream delivery volume control (bit rate), and they are set according to the case. You can also use smart coding, such as [Smart VIQS], to reduce the volume. For information about controlling the delivery of streams, see the following: For details, refer to the user manual.
6.3.3 Reducing Data Capacity with Smart Coding
Constant Bit Rate :
Delivers H.265 (or H.264) images at the bitrate set in [Max bit rate (per client) *].
Variable bit rate :
Delivers H.265 (or H.264) images at the frame rate set in [Frame rate*] while maintaining the image quality level set in [Quality]. At this time, the bit rate is distributed with a variable value within the maximum bit rate set in [Max bit rate (per client) *]. The recording capacity varies depending on the [Quality] setting and the object status.
Frame rate specification:
Delivers H.265 (or H.264) images at the frame rate set in [Frame rate*].
Best effort delivery:
Depending on the bandwidth of your network, you can distribute H.265 (or H.264) images at varying bit rates, up to the maximum bit rate set in [Max bit rate (per client) *].
Smart coding is a data-compression technique that reduces the amount of compression to sharpen human faces, increases the amount of compression in the background, or optimizes the amount of compression by object.
This image is an image. It differs from how the screen is actually viewed.
Live image pages settings pane>[Detailed setting]>[Advanced settings page] for [Detailed setting]>[Image], or [Image/Audio] in the Advanced menu on the left>Clicking [Image] brings up the Smart Coding Settings window.
[Auto VIQS]
Keeps the image quality of the part that the object (head, person, vehicle, or two-wheel) is shown at a high quality.
[GOP control]
You can reduce the amount of data.
[Notice]

・The setting on the radar side does not show the smart coding items.

Allows you to manually adjust the zoom of the displayed image.
Live image pages settings pane>Clicking [Zoom] displays the setting window.
