10.1Be initialized

INITIAL SETPress the button to initialize the unit.INITIAL SETFor the location of the buttons, refer to the following:

When you turn off the camcorder.

[INITIAL SET] Hold down the button for at least 15 seconds after turning on the power.

After about 2 minutes, the machine starts and the settings including the network setting data are initialized. If the system does not start up properly, try again.

10.2Checking the software version

The functions of this machine are realized by software. If there is a problem with the operation of this unit, it is recommended that you first check the current software version.

10.3Upgrade the software

・Be sure to check the version after upgrading. Also, delete temporary Internet files.

10.4Setting order when adjusting the image quality

It is recommended to set the image quality settings in the following order: Visibility adjustment → Color adjustment → Noise removal.

In dark scenes, increasing the maximum gain brightens the image.

Choosing a [Maximum shutter] longer than the [Max. 1/30s] setting increases the amount of light you enter, resulting in brighter images.

10.7Suppress screen skipping or black

10.7.1Set the super dynamic

When Super Dynamic is set to On, bright and dark areas are faithfully reproduced even when shooting in areas where there is a large difference in brightness.

10.7.2Set Backlight Compensation

By setting [Backlight Compensation], you can suppress the blackness of the object indoors in an environment where strong light enters from outdoor (the object lights up indoors).

10.7.3Set high light compensation

Setting [High light compensation(HLC)] suppresses object overexposure caused by bright lights, such as car headlights.

10.7.4Adjusting the adaptive black stretch

Adjust the [Adaptive black stretch] to brighten the darker areas of the picture.

By adjusting [Contrast level] to increase the contrast of images, you can improve the visibility of object with less contrast.

10.9Reduce flicker generation

Use [Light control mode] to automatically correct flicker caused by fluorescent lights.

10.10Reduce blur in object (bright scenes)

10.10.1Setting Intelligent Auto (motion priority level)

The [Intelligent Auto] can be used to identify moving object such as scenes (backlit, outdoors, night scenes, etc.) and people's faces. The camera automatically adjusts the amount of light entering the lens, gain, shutter speed, and contrast to make it easier to see moving object.

10.16Setting Radar Self-Diagnosis Start

By using the radar self-diagnosis function, it is possible to check whether the radar is operating normally by terminal 1 of the external I/O cableinput.

[Set]>Clicking the [Alarm] tab. You can set [Self-test] for [Terminal 1] in the alarm settings.

Set [Terminal 1] to [Radar Self check Start].

・

[Terminal 3] is changed to [Radar Self check Output].

Input terminals from [Terminal 1].

・

When the diagnosis result is normal: It is output to [terminal 3].

・

When the diagnosis result is an error: The terminal is not output to [terminal 3].

・If the self-test result is abnormal, the radar may not operate properly. Contact your original retailer.

	・Power lines etc. are wired nearby.
	・There are devices that generate strong electric or magnetic fields (such as TV and radio transmission antennas, air conditioner motors, and power transformers) nearby.

10.18Precautions pertaining to usage

・

Impact on image and image quality
Depending on the installation environment, the lens may get dirty, which may deteriorate image quality or make the image difficult to see.

・

Do not leave the server unattended and be sure to remove it when it is no longer in use.

・

Battery
The camera is equipped with a built-in battery. Do not leave the battery in an environment that is exposed to excessive heat from sunlight, fire, etc.

・

Do not subject the front panel to strong impact.
It may cause damage or water intrusion.

・

Installation in a low-temperature environment
A heater is built into the unit to enable use in cold climates. The heater operates automatically when the internal temperature falls below approximately-15 °C.
-20 If installation or operation is started in an environment of °C or less, the system will start up immediately after the unit has been warmed up by the heater. It may take some time to start up the system. If you install or start using the product in an environment below-25 °C, it may not be possible to use the product normally. If this happens, wait for the unit to warm up (for at least two hours) and then turn the power on again.
Heating this unit will thaw snow and frost on the front dome cover, but thawing may not be possible depending on the ambient temperature and the extent of wind and snow.

10.21Notes on Networking

Since this machine is connected to the network, the following damage may occur.
