8Managing Advanced AI-VMD and Scheduling [AI-VMD]

AI-VMD page allows you to manage AI-VMD and schedule their operation. On AI-VMD page, this tab consists of the [AI-VMD mng.] tab, [Operation sched.] tab, and [Control log] tab.
[Note:]

・The items that can be set vary depending on the function installed in the model.


・For the functions of each model, refer to the catalog specifications.

8.1Installing and upgrading AI-VMD [AI-VMD mng.]

On AI-VMD, select the [AI-VMD mng.] tab.For details on how to display and operate the advanced settings menu, refer to the following.

AI-VMD
AI-VMD can determine whether the detected moving object is a car (four-wheeled vehicle), a motorcycle, a bike (two-wheeled vehicle), or a person using AI techniques.
[Software version]
Displays the version-information of AI-VMD.
[Status]
Displays the operating status of AI-VMD.
[Enable]: Appears when AI-VMD is running.
[Disable]: Displayed when AI-VMD is stopped.
[AI-VMD has been uninstalled. Please install the newest AI-VMD]: This message appears when no AI-VMD is installed on the camera.
[Setup menu]
[AI-VMD setup menu] can be displayed by clicking [Setup >>].

[Important]

・When using AI-VMD, free RAM space must be at least 50MB.


・If there is not enough RAM space available, AI-VMD cannot be used.If you want to use AI-VMD, uninstall Extension software installed on [Software mng.] tab. Alternatively, set [RAM capacity expansion mode] to [On].

Upgrading AI-VMD
You can upgrade AI-VMD by clicking [Execute].

8.2[Operation schedule] for Scheduling AI-VMD

On AI-VMD, select [Operation schedule] tab.For details on how to display and operate the Setting menu, refer to the following.

[Time table] [Operation content]
When specifying the time, set the time by clicking [▼].[00:00] When set to [00:00], it is set to 24 hours.Use [Operation content] to set [Detection program 1]/[Detection program 2]/[Off].
How to set the schedule

In [Operating day of week], select the day of the week and the timetable for which you want to schedule.

In [Time table] [Operation content], specify the timezone to operate.Specify [00:00] to [00:00] for 24-hour operation.

When you have finished configuring the settings, press [Set].
[Note:]

・The operation schedule of AI-VMD is included in the setting data that can be acquired when [Setting Data (Camera)] is executed in [Data] tab. on the Maintenance page.

8.3[Control log] for Checking AI-VMD's [Control log]

Displays the administration log for AI-VMD.For details on how to display and operate the Setting menu, refer to the following.

Up to 200 management logs can be saved in the internal memory of the computer.
If the maximum number of management logs that can be saved is exceeded, the log is overwritten from the old log.
100 management logs are displayed and saved even if the camera is turned off.
[Next 100 >>]
Click to display the following 100 entries in the management log list that you are viewing.

[Page number display]
The currently open page is displayed in the form [Page/Total Page].

[<<Previous 100 ]
Click to display 100 items in front of the displayed management log list.

[No.]
The serial number in the control log is displayed.

[Time & date]
The date and time when the log occurred is displayed.

[Description]
The contents of the management log are displayed.
