2.2Install/uninstall

2.2.1Install it

This software is installed.

[Important]

・When installing this software, be sure to uninstall WV-AS65, DG-ASM100 series, DG-ASM200 series, WV-ASM200 series, DG-ASM300 series, WV-ASM300 series, DG-ASM10, DG-ASM20, DG-ASM20, DG-ASM30, and WV-ASM30. Operation is not guaranteed when both these software and this software are installed.

・When you reinstall the software, be sure to uninstall it. Overwrite installation may cause operation instability. If necessary, save the setting data before uninstalling.

STEP1

Download this software from the applicable URL.

STEP2

Double-click the downloaded installer.
The installer of this software starts. Follow the instructions on the screen for installation.
After installation, the C:\Program Files\i-PRO\ASM300 folder is created and executable files are copied.

STEP3

Sets firewall exception. Please refer to the following for details.

STEP4

Restart the PC. After STEP1 through STEP3, restart the PC at the end.

2.2.2Uninstall

[Important]

・Exit the Software before uninstalling it.

・The setting data (database) will not be deleted even if this software is uninstalled.

・When this software is uninstalled, the recorder and the files obtained from the camera are not deleted.

・When uninstalling the software, click [Cancel] to cancel the uninstallation, and then uninstall the application again. For details on how to stop the service, refer to the operating system instruction manual used separately.

・Uninstalling the Software does not delete the registry created with the Software.

STEP1

Select [Control Panel]-[Uninstall Programs] or [Programs and Functions].

STEP2

Select "Remote Monitoring PCViewer" from the currently installed program and click Uninstall.

→The uninstall program starts.

STEP3

Uninstall as directed on the screen.

2.3Starting and Closing the Software

2.3.1Start the software

[Important]

・When this software is started immediately after the PC is started, it may not be started correctly depending on the timing of starting other OS-related services. If the computer fails to start, restart the software about 2 minutes after starting the PC to start up normally. (It is not recommended to start up the Software immediately after starting the PC.)

・To operate the Software, you must be able to connect to the Service. To display images, you must be able to connect the P2P to the Service device.

Select [All Applications]-[i-PRO]-[Remote Monitoring PC Viewer] from the Start menu or double-click the [Remote Monitoring PC Viewer] icon on the desktop to start the software.

2.3.2Login/logout

2.3.2.1Log in

STEP1

Enter the "mail address" and "login password" registered in Service.

[Important]

・Logging in from the same PC by multiple contracted users is not supported. If you log in, all settings are cleared.

・Simultaneous login by the same user on multiple PCs never perform this operation because the operation of the service may become unstable.

・If the login fails multiple times, a lockout will occur for up to 15 minutes. You cannot log in during lockout.

STEP2

Click the [OK] button.

→Displays the operation screen including the operation monitor.

■[Cancel] button

Cancels the entered data.

2.3.2.2Logging Out (Switching Users)

You can switch between users by logging in with a different user after a logout operation.

STEP1

Select [Log Out] from the menu.

STEP2

Click the [OK] button.

STEP3

The login screen is displayed. To exit, click [Cancel] to exit. If you are logged in by a different user, follow the instructions below.

Enter the "mail address" and "login password" registered in Service.

STEP4

Click the [OK] button.

→Displays the operation screen including the operation monitor.

2.3.3Terminate the software

STEP1

Select [Exit] from the menu or click the [×] button on the title bar.

→The exit screen is displayed.

STEP2

Click the [OK] button.

→ This software is terminated.

2.4Upgrade the software

[Important]

・Check whether the latest version is present or not at the time of login and display the update notification screen. Follow the instructions on the screen to update the latest version.

・When the version is upgraded, it cannot be returned to an older version.

・If the download fails, the version will not be upgraded. Therefore, manually upgrade the version from the setting screen.

STEP1

If a new version exists after logging in, the Software Version Check window will be displayed.

[Notes]

・This message may be displayed during operation. If this message is displayed, immediately select "YES/NO" and close this dialog box. If you leave the dialog box open, the software may not be able to operate.

STEP2

Click the [OK] button.
→Start downloading the latest software.

■[Cancel] button

The operation screen is displayed without downloading.

STEP3

After downloading is completed, the Confirmation of Installation screen will be displayed.

STEP4

Click the [OK] button.
→ Exit the Software, uninstall the previous version, and then start the installation of the new version. After the installation is completed, the login screen is displayed. Re-log in.

■[Cancel] button

The operation screen is displayed without performing the installation.

・The version can be upgraded manually later from the setting screen. For details, please refer to the following.

2.5.2Tabs and windows

The Live Monitor, Setup, and Event Search tabs on the main unit screen can be displayed in different order or in a new window.

2.5.2.1Open/Close tab

Open the ■ tab

The [Live Monitor], [Setup] and [Event Search] tabs can be opened by clicking the shortcut icon on the title bar or by selecting the appropriate item from the menu. Please refer to the following for details.

Close the ■ tab

The tab can be closed by clicking the [×] button next to the tab title.

2.5.2.2Changing the order in which tabs appear

You can drag the tab over the adjacent tab to change the tab display order on the window.
However, the Operation Monitor tab cannot be moved.

2.5.2.3Tab separation/tab coalescence

Isolation of the ■ tab

You can separate tabs on a window into separate windows by dragging the tabs.
However, the Operation Monitor tab and the Setup screen tab cannot be separated into separate windows.
The system settings prevent tabs from being separated.

Combination of ■ tabs

You can merge into the same window by dragging a separate tab into a separate window and overlapping it into the tab on the original window.

・The state of the tab after separation/coalescence is retained until the next startup of this software.

2.5.3Set the magnification of display

Set the size to display each screen.

STEP1

Click the [Menu] icon in the title bar.

The → menu is displayed.

STEP2

Select [View magnification] from the menu.

→Display magnification menu is displayed.

Press the slider position to enlarge or reduce the display magnification.
The display magnification can be selected from 75%/100%/125%/150%/175%/200%.
+: Increase the display magnification
-: Reduces the display magnification.

← closes the View magnification menu.

[Notes]

・The minimum size when "Display magnification" is set to 75% is 960×600.
The minimum size when set to 100% is 1280×800.
The minimum size when set to 125% is 1600×1000.
The minimum size when set to 150% is 1920×1200.
The minimum size when 175% is used is 2240×1400.
The minimum size when set to 200% is 2560 x 1600.

・The screen resolution of the monitor is 4K (3840×2160), which is suitable for use.
When using a resolution of 4K or less, it is recommended to set it to 100%.
Windows settings may disrupt the display regardless of the display magnification.
Make sure that the Windows settings are as follows.

■For Windows 10
Click 1.[Settings]-[System]-[Display].
Select "100%" in 2. [Change the size of text, apps, and other items..].

■For Windows 11
Click 1.[Settings]-[System]-[Display].
Select "100%" in 2. [Change the size of text, apps, and other items..].

・Windows-specific screens such as software name, minimization button, maximization button, exit button, message window, and dialog in the title bar at the top of the window are excluded.

・The thickness of the various lines displayed in the image selection frame, screen split line, and drag and zoom frame depends on the display magnification.

・Depending on the display magnification, some parts may differ from the standard screen (display magnification: 100% hour), but the function does not differ.

2.6Operation Monitor Window

The following explains the items displayed on the operation monitor.

[Notes]

・You can change the display size of the operation monitor from a minimum of 960 x 600 to a maximum of 3840 x 3840 by using the mouse. Please refer to the following for details.

The minimum size when "Display magnification" is set to 75% is 960×600.
The minimum size when set to 100% is 1280×800.
The minimum size when set to 125% is 1600×1000.
The minimum size when set to 150% is 1920×1200.
The minimum size when 175% is used is 2240×1400.
The minimum size when set to 200% is 2560×1600.

・As the display size of the operation monitor is changed, the size of the menu panel and the image placement area is enlarged or contracted.

・Display image is distorted when the display size of the operation monitor is changed.

2.6.2Status Bar

[Important]

・Check that each function is compatible with your device.

■Recorder/Camera name

Displays the recorder name and camera name of the selected image.

■ [Reception] button

Turn on/off the earpiece voice (heard on PC). To the display by clicking the button

The camera switches to deafness and deafness.

[Notes]

・Right-click the button to display the pop-up menu and adjust the earpiece volume in three levels: strong/moderate/weak.

・When the multi-screen display is displayed, sound is output from the camera in the image placement area in the upper left. If you move the selection frame other than the upper left, the button will be hidden, but the sound from the camera in the image placement area in the upper left will be output.

■[LIVE], [Play], or [Play SD]

Displays the type of image displayed (live image/playback image/SD memory data playback).

■[Step1]～[Step7]

Displays the playback speed.
[Step1]: 1x speed
[Step 2]: Approx. twice the speed
[Step 3]: Approx. 4 times speed
[Step 4]: Approx. 8 times speed
[Step 5]: Approx. 16 times speed
[Step 6]: Approx. 32 times speed
[Step 7]: Approx. 48 times speed

[Notes]

・High resolution and frame rate of recorded images, high recorder and PC load, or high playback speed may be lower than stated depending on the network environment.

■ Date and Time

If a live image is displayed, the date and time of the selected device is displayed. When the recorded image is played (when the camera image not registered in recorder is displayed and when the camera is directly received, the date and time cannot be displayed on some devices), the recorded date and time of the selected image are displayed. [AM]/[PM] is not displayed for 24-hour display.

■ Notice

You are notified of a new notification.

2.6.3Menu panel

Use the menu panel on the left side of the Operation Monitor to perform live, play, download, and notify.
Click on the panel bar to open or close each panel.
However, more than one panel cannot be opened at the same time.

2.6.4Tip help

If an error occurs at the start of live/replay and the image cannot be displayed, or if the JPEG image or the previous image is still displayed and not updated, bringing the mouse to the relevant image displays tip help for the error cause as shown below. Take appropriate action according to the cause of the error. In the case of multiple screens, an error is displayed for each image.

The main errors and countermeasures displayed are as follows.


Tip help messages	Possible cause	Measures
Login error	The device failed to log in.	Please wait for a while. If the problem persists, log in again.
Error in sending a command	Command transmission for communication control failed.	Please wait for a while. If the problem persists, log in again.
User overrun error	The number of playable users is exceeded.	Finish playback for other users before executing again.
Connection timeout error	The response to the command from the device is not made within a certain time.	Please wait for a while. If the problem persists, log in again.
Communication disconnection error	Communication is disconnected.	Please wait for a while. If the problem persists, log in again.
During forcible reset	Image reset process is in progress.	Please wait for a while. If the problem persists, log in again.
ICE server detection error	The WebRTC connection is disabled.	Review the connection environment with the Service.
P2P connection error	Used in an environment where P2P connection is not possible.	Change the network environment.

2.6.5Pop-up menu

Right-click the image placement area to display the popup menu.

■ Still Image Storage

The resolution of the image to be saved can be changed from the setting screen. Please refer to the following for details.

・If you log in without the "Download (still image/movie)" privilege, the [Save still image] will not be displayed.

・This can be selected only when one image is displayed.

■Electron Zoom

Set the zoom factor of the electronic zoom. The magnification factor can be selected from 1 x, 2 x, 4 x and 8 x.

[Notes]

・When the image of MPEG-4, H.265 and H.264 is enlarged in the electronic zoom, clicking on the edge of the screen and moving the display area may result in a black image.

・[Electronic Zoom] is not displayed during recording and playback.

・This can be selected only when one image is displayed.

・Please refer to the following for the cameras that can use this function.

■ Download

The download panel with the information of the image being played back (recorder, camera, date and time) displayed opens.

Start downloading images in the selected area during playback.

Start downloading images from all areas during playback.

・If you log in without the "Download (still image/movie)" permission, the [Quick Download (all screens)] will not be displayed.

・[Quick Download (all screens)] cannot be selected during live image display.

■ Full-screen display

Full-screen displays the displayed image. Please refer to the following for details.

■ Image Off

The displayed image is cleared.

■ Video Reset

Reset the video connection and restart from the device connection.

[Notes]

・Depending on the network environment, the image may remain stopped without displaying an error in the tip help. When this event occurs, use this function to reset the connection.

2.6.6Information display section

Displays the recording status of images, as well as the camera name of live images and played images.

■REC lamp/recorder in communication mark

Illuminates when the image is being recorded.

[Notes]

・It may take some time to play back, depending on the initial access and the network or recorder operating environment.

■Camera name

Displays the camera name.

2.6.7.1Camera operation panel

[Important]

・Check that each function is compatible with your device.

・To operate a new camera, restart the software before use.

・Camera control works for the selected image.

・If you log in without Camera Control privileges, the Camera Operation Panel will not be displayed.

■Zoom

Click the [-] button (wide angle) or [+] button (telephoto) to adjust the zoom.
Click the [x1] button to reset the zoom factor.

[Notes]

・You can also adjust the zoom by pressing the mouse wheel on the camera image.

・Please refer to the following for the cameras that can use this function.

■Focus

Click Auto Focus to automatically adjust the focus.
Click [Near] or [Remote] to adjust the focus of the camera image.

■control pad

Click in the control pad to adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the live image (pan/tilt). The more you click outside the center of the pad, the faster the pan/tilt will be.

[Notes]

・Even if you click on the screen, the camera's direction moves (pans/tilts) in the direction you clicked.

・Please refer to the following for the cameras that can use this function.

■ Brightness

Click the [Black (-)] or [Light (+)] buttons to adjust the lens aperture.
You can reset the brightness setting by clicking the [Standard] button.

■ Preset

Select the preset number from the following.
HOME/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10
Click Move to move the camera direction to the camera position of the selected preset number.

[Notes]

・The preset function is compatible with the PTZ camera.

・If Service is changing the preset number to any position name, that name is displayed.

2.6.7.2Playback operation panel

[Important]

・Check that each function is compatible with your device.

[Notes]

・If you log in without the "Record and Play" privilege, the playback operation panel is not displayed.

・If the image of the camera not registered in recorder is displayed, the playback operation panel will not be displayed.

・In the case of a multi-screen display, each operation is performed for all images at once without individually playing back images.

・This is displayed when the Timeline display setting is OFF.

■[Fast Reverse Playback] button

Each time you click, the reverse playback speed changes from Step 2 (approx.) to Step 3 (approx.) to Step 4 (approx. 8) to Step 5 (approx. 16) to Step 6 (approx. 32) to Step 7 (approx. 48).

[Notes]

・High resolution and frame rate of recorded images, high recorder and PC load, and/or high reverse playback speed may be lower than stated depending on the network environment.

■[Reverse Playback] button

The recorded images are played back. If you click during high-speed playback or high-speed reverse playback, the playback will be performed at the normal playback speed.

[Notes]

・If the reproduced image is MPEG-4, H.264 and H.265, not all recorded images are displayed. The camera will play back at the refresh period set for the camera.

■[Play] button

You play back recorded images. Clicking the button during high-speed playback or high-speed reverse playback will play at the normal playback speed.

■[Fast Playback] button

Each time this button is clicked, the playback speed changes from Step2 (approx. 2 times) → Step3 (approx. 4 times) → Step4 (approx. 8 times) → Step5 (approx. 16 times) → Step6 (approx. 32 times) → Step7 (approx. 64 times).

[Notes]

・High resolution and frame rate of recorded images, high recorder and PC load, or high playback speed may be lower than stated depending on the network environment.

■ [Reverse frame advance] button

Click Pause to play back the previous frame and pause.

[Notes]

・If the reproduced image is MPEG-4, H.264 and H.265, not all recorded images are displayed. The reverse frame is fed with the refresh cycle set for the camera.

■[Pause] button

Click during playback to pause playback. Click Pause to resume playback.

■ Stop button

Switches from playback to live image.

■ [Frame Forward] button

Click pause to play back the next frame and pause.

2.6.7.3Timeline playback operation panel

[Important]

・The Timeline does not support cameras that are not registered in recorder.

[Notes]

・The Timeline playback operation panel is displayed by setting [Timeline Display] to [ON] on the setting screen. For details, please refer to the following.

・The Timeline will not be displayed if the duration is outside the period specified in "Days to obtain recording information" on the setting screen.

・If you log in without the "Record and Play" privilege, the Timeline Playback operation panel will not be displayed.

・The maximum upper left screen of the camera where the Timeline can be displayed is 4.

・Timeline bars may have cuts in the Timeline despite the existence of recorded data depending on the recorder conditions. The timeline bar is only a guide and may not match the recorded data or not completely.

■ Date and Time Display

The date shown in the Timeline is displayed.

Click to display the calendar.
Select Date to display the Timeline for the specified date.

Click to display the Timeline for the previous time. In addition,

■ Time Axis Scale Change Slider

The time axis is enlarged or contracted by operating the slider position. Press the slider in the + direction to zoom in the time axis in that order. Press the slider in one direction to reduce the time axis in that order.

■[24H] button

Click to display the time axis in 24H.

■ Timeline Bar

The title of the camera displayed on the screen and the recording and event information are displayed. Double-clicking in the specified Timeline plays from the position you clicked. The colors of the bars are as follows:

■ Timeline seeker

Press the seek bar to start playback at any time. During playback, the seek bar is automatically updated according to the condition.

■ Reverse Playback button

The recorded images are played back. If you click during high-speed playback or high-speed reverse playback, the playback will be performed at the normal playback speed.

You play back recorded images. If you click during high-speed playback, playback will be performed at the normal playback speed.

■[Fast Playback] button

Each time the button is clicked, the playback speed is switched.

・The maximum speed of high-speed playback depends on the bit rate of the SD Memory Card.

・Depending on the subject and settings, images may not appear smoothly during high-speed playback.

Click during playback to pause playback.

2.6.8To show/hide the menu and operation panels

The Operation Monitor can be used to display/hide operation panels or menu panels by opening/closing the panel or using the menu. If the operation panel or menu panel is hidden in the menu, the panel open/close button is not displayed. Click the [△] icon on the panel open/close button to display/hide operation panels and menu panels.
