Support audio output.(Remote Monitoring)
This app can be used to transmit audio from a smartphone to a camera registered with Remote Monitoring.
[Important]

● Audio output is available only with the following cameras. (2.2.3 Live video type)


  • Live video from a camera registered with Remote Monitoring (Cloud Camera)


  • Live video from a camera connected to a recorder registered with Remote Monitoring (Via Cloud Recorder)


  For cameras other than those listed above, the [Output] button will not be displayed on the camera control panel.



● The following settings are required to use the audio output function.


  • Set the camera's "Audio transmission mode" to "Audio output", "Interactive (full-duplex)", or "Interactive (half-duplex)".


  • Enable "Audio output" in the Remote Monitoring permission settings.



● The following firmware versions are required to audio output.


  When using Cloud Recorder
 NX series: Ver. 1.30 or later
 NU series: Ver. 1.50 or later


  When using Cloud Camera
 New X-series: Ver. 3.40 or later
 Other series: Ver. 2.80 or later
 *For details, please check the release notes for the firmware/software for the camera.

Support Single Sign-On.(Remote Monitoring)
You can access the registered Remote Monitoring using your Apple or Google account ID and password.
[Important]

● If you are using an Android device, you can access the service using a Google account.
If you are using an iOS device, you can access the service using either an Apple or Google account.



● When using this function, you need permission to share your Apple or Google account information with this app.



● Only one Remote Monitoring account can be accessed using this function.
If you have already used this function, you cannot use an Apple or Google account when registering another Remote Monitoring account. Please take one of the following measures.


  • Unregister the Remote Monitoring account registered using this function (4.2.8 Cancel Remote Monitoring registration)
* At this time, the link between the Remote Monitoring account and your Apple or Google account will also be cancelled. If you want to log in using your Apple or Google account on another mobile device or web browser, please re-register.


  • Register an account using the Remote Monitoring email address and password (2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring)



● The camera registration function cannot be used with a Remote Monitoring account registered using this function. (4.2.7 Registration of camera in Remote Monitoring)
When registering a camera, please register an account using the Remote Monitoring email address and password. (2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring)


Support network environment checking.(Remote Monitoring)
You can check the network environment of the device.
Refer to “4.2.9 Check network environment” for further information about how to check the network environment.

● Fixed an issue where the app did not function properly on iPads running iPadOS 18 or later.

Support playback recorded video by tapping the notification pop-up(Remote Monitoring)
This application can be used to play back recorded video by tapping the alarm notification pop-up.
Refer to “4.9.2 Set the camera display when you tap the notification pop-up [Notification pop-up action setting]” for further information about how to set the camera image that is displayed when you tap the pop-up display.

Remote Monitoring image quality setting function (Remote Monitoring)
This app allows you to adjust the image quality settings of the camera under the recorder registered with Remote Monitoring.
[Important]

● The image quality settings can be changed only for the following cameras.

Remote Monitoring AUX control function (Remote Monitoring)
The device connected to the AUX terminal of the camera connected to a recorder registered with Remote Monitoring will be set to an open or closed state.
[Important]

● AUX control is available only with the following cameras. (2.2.3 Live video type)


  • Independent camera


  • Camera connected to a recorder


  • Live video from a camera connected to a recorder registered with Remote Monitoring (New)


  When the camera in use is other than the above, the [AUX] button will not be displayed on the camera control panel.

● The following settings are required to use the AUX function.


  • Set the camera's terminal 3 setting to “AUX output”.


  • Enable “Camera Control” in the authority setting of Remote Monitoring. (When controlling the AUX control of the camera under the recorder registered to Remote Monitoring.)



● When controlling AUX, be sure to use it only for the purpose where the status can be checked with live video.


  (Example: Control the lighting of the place where the camera is installed.)
[Note]

● The name of the [Open] button and the [Close] button can be changed. Refer to “4.7.7 Set the AUX title [AUX title]” for how to change the name.



[Open] :The status of the AUX connector will be open.
[Close]:The status of the AUX connector will be closed.
Remote Monitoring Video settings via relay server (Remote Monitoring)
The video from a camera via Remote Monitoring service might not be stable as it comes via a relay server depending on the network. In this case, changing frame rate or bit rate can improve the video.
