Perform the settings relating to “Remote Monitoring”.(4.2.1 Select a cloud service)

Perform the setting relating to devices to be connected with this app such as cameras and recorders.

Wireless network camera registration
Connect the wireless LAN model camera to the network, register the camera as an administrator, and register the connection to this app.(4.4 Connecting a wireless LAN model camera to the network and registering a new device[Wireless network camera registration])

Setting data transfer
The backup of the information set by this app can be saved in the mobile device as setting file. The saved setting data can be loaded here. (4.5 Save setting data [Setting data transfer], 4.6 Load setting data [Setting data transfer])

Settings of cloud service selection can be reviewed and changed.

On the settings screen, tap "Remote Monitoring". (4.1 Configure each setting)


The Remote Monitoring registration screen will appear, where you can check the currently selected cloud services.



 

1  Tap [Select Service].


⇒ The select service screen will be displayed.



2  Select the desirable cloud service to use.


[Important]

● If you use services outside Japan, confirm [Remote Monitoring (Outside Japan)] is selected.


Register an account for the Remote Monitoring to be connected to this application.


refer to “2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring” for details on registering/adding an account.



When two-step varification is set for your account in Remote Monitoring, you will need to enter a six-digit authentication code. There are two ways to authenticate: using an authenticator app or receiving a code by e-mail.
This section explains the steps for each authentication method.
[Important]

● Two-step varification settings (none/App authentication/Email certification) cannot be set through this app. It is necessary to set in the web browser.


Use an authenticator app
When the authentication code entry screen appears, do the following.

1  Tap [Select App].
⇒ The “Select App” screen will be displayed.

2  Select an authenticator app.
⇒ A six-digit authentication code will be displayed on the screen of the selected authenticator app.
[Note]
If you don't have an authenticator app, selecting it will take you to the app store's installation screen.

3  Enter the displayed authentication code and tap [Registeration].
Receive the authentication code by e-mail and authenticate.
When the authentication code entry screen appears, do the following.

1  Check the six-digit authentication code sent to your e-mail address.
Check the authentication code sent to the e-mail address you set up in Remote Monitoring. 

2  Enter the authentication code and tap [Registertion].

You can access the registered Remote Monitoring using your Apple or Google account ID and password.


This section explains the steps to link your accounts to use this function.


[Important]

● If you are using an Android device, you can access the service using a Google account.
If you are using an iOS device, you can access the service using either an Apple or Google account.



● When using this function, you need permission to share your Apple or Google account information with this app.



● Only one Remote Monitoring account can be accessed using this function.
If you have already used this function, you cannot use an Apple or Google account when registering another Remote Monitoring account. Please take one of the following measures.


  • Unregister the Remote Monitoring account registered using this function (4.2.8 Cancel Remote Monitoring registration)
* At this time, the link between the Remote Monitoring account and your Apple or Google account will also be cancelled. If you want to log in using your Apple or Google account on another mobile device or web browser, please re-register.


  • Register an account using the Remote Monitoring email address and password (2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring)



● The camera registration function cannot be used with a Remote Monitoring account registered using this function. (4.2.7 Registration of camera in Remote Monitoring)
When registering a camera, please register an account using the Remote Monitoring email address and password. (2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring)



* The image shows the Android application screen. For iOS applications, the [Sign in with Apple] button is also displayed.


1 After entering "Name", tap [Sign in with Google] or [Sign in with Apple]



⇒ The browser will launch and the account linking screen will be displayed.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the account you want to link.

* Depending on the settings of your mobile device, you may be asked for permission to share information from your Apple or Google account with this app.
In that case, tap [Continue] to proceed.

* Depending on the state of your browser's cache, you may be directed to the Remote Monitoring account settings without the account linking screen being displayed.
In that case, please clear your browser cache.



 

2 Enter the email address and password for the Remote Monitoring you want to link, and tap [Link].



⇒ Once the connection is complete, the message "Registration is complete." will be displayed.

* If the account selected in step 1 is already linked to an Remote Monitoring account, the linked Remote Monitoring account will be registered. In this case, you will not be required to enter your Remote Monitoring email address and password.
You can check the connection status of your Remote Monitoring account from the Remote Monitoring web browser.

* Depending on the settings of your mobile device, you may be asked to enter your Apple or Google account ID and password again.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.


Set the function type of the event to be notified from Remote Monitoring.


Tap [Remote Monitoring registration] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



 

1 Tap to the right of the name of the Remote Monitoring.


⇒ The Remote Monitoring registration screen appears.



 

2  Tap [Notification settings].


⇒ The “Notification settings” screen will be displayed.



 

3  Tap [Event to notify setting].


⇒ The “Event to notify setting” screen will be displayed.



4  Select the event to be notified.


Tap the event to be notified.
[Select all]: Selects all events.
[Unselect all]: Cancels all selections of events.


5  Tap [Change].

⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the event to be notified will be registered.


Set the event schedule to be notified from Remote Monitoring.
Tap [Notification settings] on the Remote Monitoring registration screen. (4.2.5 Select the function type of the event to be notified from Remote Monitoring)

1  Tap [Notification setting].


⇒ The notification setting screen will be displayed.



2  Select the notification schedule.



Always:
Always notified when an event occurs.
After this, go to step 3.

Schedule:
Set the notification schedule.
After this, go to step 4.


Select “Always”

3  Select the type of notification (Email/ Push) and tap [Change].



Email: Notify by e-mail of event information as it has occurred. For the settings of e-mail notification recipients and the contents of e-mail notifications, check web browser.



Push:  The pop-up screen of the occurred event information will be displayed. Refer to “Alarm information (pop-up display)” for details on the pop-up screen.



⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the notification schedule will be registered.




Select “Schedule”

4  Tap [Schedule change].


⇒ The schedule setting screen will be displayed.



5  Tap the time line for a day of week to be configured.


⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



6  Tap the type of notification (Email/ Push).


Refer to step 3 for “Email” and “Push” notifications.


7  Tap [Start] and [End].


⇒ The time setting screen will be displayed.



8  Specify a start time and an end time and then tap [OK].


⇒ The display returns to the schedule setting screen.



To set other days of the week, repeat steps 5 to 8.

9  Tap (Back)

⇒ The display returns to the notification setting screen.



10  Tap [Change].

⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the notification schedule will be registered.


To use Remote Monitoring to view live video from cameras with this app, it is necessary to register the camera with Remote Monitoring.
Registration can also be done from web browser.
If you operate from the web browser, registration with this app is not necessary.
[Important]

● Cameras that are registered in a recorder cannot be registered from this app.


● If you have registered a Remote Monitoring account using the single sign-on function, you cannot register your camera using this function. (4.2.4 Access Remote Monitoring using your Apple or Google account (Single Sign-On))


● For further information about the operating instruction of web browser, refer to “Installation Guide” -> “Installation”  on our website below.

1 Tap to the right of the name of the Remote Monitoring


⇒ The Remote Monitoring registration screen appears.



2 Tap [Camera registration (manual input)]


⇒ The system will start detecting cameras on the same network. When the detection is complete, the detected cameras will be displayed in a list.



3 Tap to right of the camera you want to register.


⇒ The camera registration screen will be displayed.



The page operations for the detection results are as follows:

[All]
Displays all detected cameras.
[Unregistered]
Displays cameras that are not registered with the selected Web service.
[Camera Detection]
Redetects cameras.

Refer to “Camera information and icons” for details about the icons and camera information on the page.

4 Enter the camera's administrator username and password.


⇒ The address, port number, and SSL communication settings are displayed for the selected camera and cannot be changed on this screen.




5  Tap [Set]


⇒ A confirmation screen will appear,and when [OK] is tapped,the camera will be registered.




This indicates that you are registered with the selected Remote Monitoring.
No icon
This indicates that you are not registered with the selected Remote Monitoring.
Tap [Remote Monitoring registration] on the “Settings” screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1 Tap to the right of the name of the Remote Monitoring


⇒ The Remote Monitoring registration screen appears.



2  Tap [Unregister service].


⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the Remote Monitoring will be unregistered.



When canceling a Remote Monitoring account registered using an Apple or Google account

3 Enter your Remote Monitoring password and tap [Yes].


⇒ Your Remote Monitoring registration will be unregistered.
* At this time, the link between your Remote Monitoring account and your Apple or Google account will also be unlinked. If you want to log in using your Apple or Google account on another mobile device or web browser, please re-register.


You can check the network environment of the device.
Tap [Remote Monitoring registration] on the “Settings” screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

 
1 Tap [Network Check].

* If the [Network Check] button is not displayed, tap the Remote Monitoring name to connect.




 
2 Tap [Execute].

⇒ The "Checking network" dialog will be displayed.
After a while, the results of the network environment check will be displayed above the [Network Check] button.



 
If "The environment is suitable for use of the service." is displayed.
You can connect to devices using the current network environment.

 
If "The environment is not suitable for use of the service. If you are using mobile data, switching to a Wi-Fi connection may help improve stability." is displayed.
In the current network environment, the video may be interrupted or not appear smooth.
Also, the video will be displayed at the frame rate and bit rate set in this app, not the camera or recorder settings. (4.13 Configure video settings when using a relay server)

 
If an error occurs and you are unable to check, your device may not be connected to the network.
Check your network settings and try checking your network environment again.

Perform the setting relating to devices to be connected with this app such as cameras and recorders.
Refer to “2.2.2 Registration of devices such as cameras and recorders” for how to register/add devices.
The following are descriptions of how to change the display order of devices, copy setting information of a device and change/delete registration information of a device.


Tap [Device setting(IP・domain)] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap  (Sort).


displayed on the right side of a device name will turn to and the display order of devices will become ready to be changed.


2  Tap and hold* to drag to change the order


   * Tap and hold: Tap with your finger and keep the finger in contact with the screen



 

3  When change of the order is completed, tap (End).


Tap [Device setting(IP・domain)] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap on the right side of a device name whose setting information is to be changed


⇒ The “Device setting(IP・domain)” screen will be displayed. Refer to “2.2.2 Registration of devices such as cameras and recorders” for further information about each item and for how to operate.


When registration of multiple devices is needed, additional registration of devices can simply be performed by copying the registered device setting information.


Tap [Device setting(IP・domain)] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



1  Tap on the right side of a device name whose setting information is to be changed.


⇒ The “Device setting(IP・domain)” screen will be displayed. Refer to “2.2.2 Registration of devices such as cameras and recorders” for further information about each item and for how to operate.



2  Tap [Device settings copy].


⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the setting information of the selected device is copied and the registration screen of the copied device information will be displayed.



3  Edit device information.


⇒ Refer to “2.2.2 Registration of devices such as cameras and recorders” for further information about each item and for how to operate.



4  Tap [Set].

⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the device information will be registered.


Tap [Device setting(IP・domain)] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap on the right side of a device name to be deleted.


⇒ The “Device setting(IP・domain)” screen will be displayed.



2  Tap [Delete this device].


⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the selected device will be deleted.


Connect the wireless LAN model camera to the network and register a new device.
This function is compatible with the following camera series.

● i-PRO mini / i-PRO mini L (WV-S7130 series, WV-S71300 series, WV-B71300 series)


● PanTilt Camera (WV-B51300 series, WV-B54300 series)


● Speaker camera (WV-S71301 series, WV-B71301 series)


 
Functions are as follows:

● Network connection and device registration are performed using a two-dimensional code. [2D Code for Wi-Fi connection]


Network registration using a 2D code is only possible with the wireless LAN models in the above compatible series.

● Automatically detects the camera and registers the device. [Camera Detection]


Both wired and wireless LAN models in the above compatible series can be detected.
[Important]

● This function cannot be used to register a device to a camera for which administrator registration has already been completed.


Scan the 2D code created with this app into the Wi-Fi model camera to connect to the network.


After that, register the camera as an administrator and register the device with this app.


[Important]

● This function is supported only for wireless LAN model cameras.


● To use this function, you must allow access to location information.


Tap [Wireless network camera registration] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

 

1  Tap [2D Code for Wi-Fi connection].



 

2  Tap [Next].



 

3  Select the type of camera to be registered.


* Depending on the camera selected, camera operation instructions will be displayed.
If you do not need instructions on how to use the camera, select [2D Code creation (skip camera instructions)].



 

4  Enter the following items according to the settings of the network environment to which the camera to be registered is connected.
・ SSID
・ Network Key
・ Connection Mode
・ Communication Mode
・ Encryption Method
*If the “Access to Location Information Permission Dialog Screen” is displayed, please set it as follows.
Access : Allow
Location : Precise



5  Tap [2D Code Creation]



6  Follow the steps displayed on the screen to operate the camera.



7  Read the created 2D code into the camera and tap [Check the result].


⇒ When the reading is complete, tap [Next]. The camera will start detecting.
When detection is complete, the detected cameras are displayed in a list.
If the reading fails, perform step 6 again.



 

8  Tap to right of the camera you want to register.


⇒ The camera registration screen will be displayed.
* This function cannot be used to register a device to a camera for which administrator registration has already been completed.

Tap [Camera Detection] to redetect the camera.

 

9  Tap [Yes].





 

10  Set the following items and tap [Set].
・ Name
・ Port Num
・ SSL
・ Camera administrator user name
・ Camera administrator password


⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the camera will be registered as an administrator and registered in the app.



* If you change the IP address and port number, you may not be able to register with the app.
The default port number is as follows:
・ SSL On : 443
・ SSL Off : 80

Automatically detects cameras in the same network as the smartphone and registers new devices.


Tap [Wireless network camera registration] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



 

1  Tap [Camera Detection].



 

2  Tap [Execute].


⇒ The system will start detecting cameras on the same network. When the detection is complete, the detected cameras will be displayed in a list.
The supported cameras are as follows :
・i-PRO mini/i-PRO mini L
・Pan-Tilt Camera
・Speaker camera



 

3  Tap to right of the camera you want to register.


⇒ The camera registration screen will be displayed.


* This function cannot be used to register a device to a camera for which administrator registration has already been completed.



Tap [Camera Detection] to redetect the camera.

* Up to 10 cameras can be displayed at one time.
If 11 or more cameras are connected and the camera you want to configure does not appear on the screen, tap [Camera Detection] to redetect it.



 

4  Tap [Yes].



 

5  Set the following items and tap [Set].
・ Name
・ Port Num
・ SSL
・ Camera administrator user name
・ Camera administrator password


⇒ The confirmation screen will be displayed. When [OK] is tapped, the camera will be registered as an administrator and registered in the app.



* If you change the IP address and port number, you may not be able to register with the app.
The default port number is as follows:
・ SSL On : 443
・ SSL Off : 80



 
Data set by this app can be saved as a file.
Data will be saved as a BIN file (Extension: bin).

A file name will be given based on year, month, day, hour, day and second.
Android: isv_android_yyyymmddhhmmss.bin
iOS: isv_ios_yyyymmddhhmmss.bin
Tap [Setting data transfer] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

 
1  Tap [Save Setting Data].

⇒ The window with the password entry fields will be displayed.



 

2  Enter “Password” and “Confirm password” and then tap [OK].
For the password, enter 8 to 32 characters, consisting of single-byte alphanumeric characters and symbols.


⇒ The screen to specify the save destination of the file will be displayed.




3  Select the save destination and save the file.


⇒ A message saying that the saving is complete and the file name of the saved file will be displayed.


[Important]

● The entered password will be required when loading the saved file. (4.6 Load setting data [Setting data transfer])


Load the saved setting file and restore the setting data.
[Important]

● If the version of the app used to save the setting file is newer than the version of the app used to load the file, loading may fail. Update the app to the latest version.


● The password set at the time of saving the file will be required when loading the setting file. (4.5 Save setting data [Setting data transfer])


Tap [Setting data transfer] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

 
1  Tap [Load Setting Data].

⇒ The file selection screen will be displayed.



2  Select a file to be loaded.

⇒ The window with the password entry fields will be displayed.



3  Enter the password selected at the time of saving the file and then tap [OK].


⇒ A message saying that the loading is complete will be displayed.



4  Tap [OK].

⇒ When a message of “The setting data has been loaded.” is displayed, tap [OK].


Perform the setting relating to display such as camera title, time and date, multi display, screen color and AUX title.

Perform the setting to determine the camera title display position on the live screen, multi display and playback screen.


Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



1  Tap [Disp Title Setting].


⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



2  Set the display position.

None: No playback time and date will be displayed.
Top-Left:     A camera title will be displayed at the upper left corner of the screen.
Top-Right:    A camera title will be displayed at the upper right corner of the screen.
Bottom-Left:  A camera title will be displayed at the lower left corner of the screen.
Bottom-Right: A camera title will be displayed at the lower right corner of the screen.

3  Tap  (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

Perform the setting to determine the playback time and date display position on the playback screen.


[Important]

● For playback of SD recording of the camera, display of time and date is unavailable.


● Time and date will not be displayed when displaying live video (from both camera and recorder).


Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap [Disp Date Setting].


⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



2  Tap [Disp Date Position Setting].


⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



3  Set the display position.

None: No playback time and date will be displayed.
Top-Left:     Date will be displayed at the upper left corner of the screen.
Top-Right:    Date will be displayed at the upper right corner of the screen.
Bottom-Left:  Date will be displayed at the lower left corner of the screen.
Bottom-Right: Date will be displayed at the lower right corner of the screen.

4  Tap  (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

Set the display format for play time and date (year, month, day; 24h/12h) on the playback screen.


[Important]

● For playback of SD recording of the camera, display of time and date is unavailable.


● Time and date will not be displayed when displaying live video (from both camera and recorder).


Tap [Disp Date Setting] on the display setting screen. (4.7.2 Set the time and date display position [Disp Date Position Setting])

1  Tap [Display format].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Tap [Date] or [Time].

⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.
To select a display format for Date, go to step 3.
To select a display format for Time, go to step 5.



To select a date display format

4  Tap (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

To select a time display format

5  Selecta time display format (24h/12h).
Example: at 15:00
24h: 15:00:00
12h: 03:00:00PM

6  Tap  (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.
Perform the setting to determine the number of multi display (6 Screens/ 8 Screens/ 9 Screens/ 16 Screens) to be displayed when displaying live video on a multi display.
Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap [Multi Display Setting].

⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



2  Determine the number of the multi display.


6 Screen:  Videos from 6 cameras will be displayed.


8 Screen:  Videos from 8 cameras will be displayed.


9 Screen:  Videos from 9 cameras will be displayed.


16 Screen: Videos from 16 cameras will be displayed.



3  Tap (Back).

⇒ The settings will be applied.


Perform the setting to determine the image display (Aspect Ratio/Scaling/Cropping) to be displayed when displaying live video on a multi display. 
Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap [Multi Display Image Setting].


⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.



2  Set the image display.


Aspect Ratio: The aspect ratio of the image will be maintained. The top and bottom or left and right sides of each area will be blank.


Scaling:      The image will be zoomed in/out to fill the entire of each area.


Cropping:     The center of the camera image is cropped and displayed according to each region.



3  Tap (Back).

⇒ The settings will be applied.


Perform the setting to determine the background color (white/black) of the screen. Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap [Screen Color Setting].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Determine the background color of the screen.


White: White will be applied as the background color.


Black: Black will be applied as the background color.



3  Tap (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.
The name of the [Open] button and the [Close] button of AUX control on the camera control panel can be set.
If not set, the name set on the camera will be displayed on this app.
[Important]

● The name set in the camera is available only with the following cameras.(2.2.3 Live video type)


  • Independent camera


  • Live video from a camera connected to a recorder registered with Remote Monitoring


Tap [Display setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

1  Tap [AUX title].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Enter a name of the button with up to 5 characters.


Unavailable characters: " &

3  Tap [Set].

⇒ The entered button name will be registered.


Select “On” or “Off” to determine to receive audio of live video from the camera.


For information on the video and audio of live video, refer to "3.1.3 Image/audio of live video"


For information on the compatibility of video and audio for playback video, refer to "3.5.3 Image/audio of playback video"


Tap [Audio setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



1  Tap [Audio reception].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Select “On” or “Off” for audio reception.
On:  Audio will be received.
Off: Audio will not be received.

3  Tap  (Back)
⇒ The settings will be applied.
This app allows you to receive alarms from the Remote Monitoring.

Alarm notifications will be available once you have completed registration for the Remote Monitoring. For information on how to register, please refer to "2.2.1 Registration of Remote Monitoring"

ON/OFF status of “Notification setting” in this app which is managed through the mobile device can be confirmed or changed here.


Tap [Notification setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)


The current settings are displayed in “Notification on/off setting” in the notification settings screen.


To change the setting, perform the following operation.



1  Tap [Notification on/off setting].

2. Set the notification on/off setting.
Turn notification pop-up display on/off

If you want to turn only the notification pop-up display on/off, please set it as follows.



  

1 Tap [Notifications on/off setting].

2 Set the pop-up on/off. *If the pop-up setting is not displayed, tap "system default channel" and set the pop-up on/off from the screen that appears.


When you receive an alarm notification from Remote Monitoring, you can change the camera image displayed when you tap the pop-up to "Live screen" or "Playback screen."

Tap [Notification setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)

2 Select “Live” or “Play” for notification pop-up action setting.


 

Live:The live screen of the camera that received the alarm notification will be displayed.


Play:The Playback screen of the camera that received the alarm notification will be displayed.

The Internet mode is a mode to be set when distributing H.265 (or H.264) video from the camera via the Internet mode. When this mode is set, it is possible to transmit streams without changing the setting of the broadband router from the setting used for JPEG image transmission.
To make this app receive live video streams, it is necessary to set “On” for “Internet mode (over HTTP)” on the camera side.

Determine whether to automatically set to “On” for “Internet mode (over HTTP)” even when “Off” is set for “Internet mode (over HTTP)” on the camera side.


Tap [Advanced setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



1  Tap [Change Camera Setting (Internet Mode)].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Select “On” or “Off” for the Internet mode.

Off: Does not automatically set to “On”, when “Off” is set for “Internet mode (over HTTP)” on the camera side.


On:  Automatically set to “On”, when “Off” is set for “Internet mode (over HTTP)” on the camera side.



3  Tap (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

Select the screen to be displayed when a camera is selected on the camera list screen (playback) (3.5.1 Camera list screen (Play)).


The screen can be selected from either of “Playback screen” or “Event screen”. This setting is available only for SD recording of an independent camera.


Tap [Advanced Setting] on the setting screen. (4.1 Configure each setting)



1  Tap [Initial Playback Screen Setting].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

2  Determine the screen to be displayed.

Playback screen: The playback screen (3.5.2 Playback screen) of the selected camera will be displayed.


Event screen:    The event screen (3.7.2 Event search and play) of the selected camera will be displayed.



3  Tap (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.
Switches decoders used to display H.264 and H.265 video.
If there are display issues such as H.264/H.265 video not displaying or colors not displaying correctly, changing the decoder may improve the situation (though not necessarily).
[Important]

● This function is only available on Android devices. It is not available on mobile devices other than Android.


● The available decoders vary depending on the mobile device.


● After changing the decoder, check if the live video display has actually improved. If it has not improved, select another decoder once again. If it worsens, reset to the original decoder.



1  Tap [H.264/H.265 decoder switching].

⇒ The H.264/H.265 decoder switching screen will be displayed.



2  [H.264 decoder] or [H.265 decoder].
⇒ The setting screen will be displayed.

3  Select a decoder.

4  Tap  (Back)
⇒ The setting will be applied.
The video from a camera via Remote Monitoring service might not be stable as it comes via a relay server depending on the network. In this case, changing frame rate or bit rate can improve the video.

1  Tap [Video settings via relay server].
⇒ The "Video settings via relay server" screen will be displayed.



2  Tap [Mode]

3  Select the mode
Standard: Changes the image quality to VGA (640×480)/10fps/512kbps when using a relay server with cameras that have a resolution higher than 1920×1080.
Advanced: Changes to the frame rate and bit rate can be made when using a relay server, regardless of the camera resolution.
If issues like image stuttering occur in Standard settings, please switch to Advanced settings.

4  Tap  (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

5 Select the frame rate
When “Advanced” is selected, the frame rate and bit rate can be set.
The frame rate will be changed to the set frame rate when a camera passes through a relay server.
If the standard setting results in choppy images, please use the advanced setting.

6  Tap  (Back).
⇒ The settings will be applied.

7  Select the bit rate
When “Advanced” is selected, the bit rate and bit rate can be set.
The bit rate will be changed to the set bit rate when a camera passes through a relay server.
If the standard setting results in choppy images, please use the advanced setting.


8  Tap  (Back).
