(1)
Start iCT and click on "Ext. Software Management" in the menu on the left side.
(2)
Click "App. Settings".
(3)
Check the cameras for which you want to install the extension software from the device list.
(4)
Select "AI Occupancy Detection" from the " Extension Software" pull-down menu.
(5)
Click "Setting/Confirmation".
On the Basic screen, you can set the detection area and alarm conditions (Number of objects/Time). In addition, you can display to check the detection area frame and objects detection frame on the camera image screen.
The set areas and the detected people are displayed in frames.
Areas: After the areas are set, frames are displayed in the color of each area.
Area 1: White; Area 2: Blue; Area 3: Green; Area 4: Red.
Detection (in red frames): The objects in the area where an alarm has occurred are displayed in red frames.
Detection (in blue frames): The objects that have entered an area are displayed in blue frames.
Detection (in light blue frames): The objects that are not in any area are displayed in light blue frames.

・When the demo screen is displayed, the objects detection frame will not be displayed on the camera image screen.

・The objects detection frame can be displayed on only one browser. It does not support simultaneous access by multiple browsers.

・Please reload the browser since detection frames are not displayed automatically even after the demo screen is closed.

[Detection object]
Select the object to be detected.

Human/Vehicle/Bycycle/AI On-site learning1-5

Default setting:Human
Up to four detection areas can be set. Each area has its own alarm conditions (count count and time). An alarm will sound if the count remains above or below the set number for a specified period of time.
[Area 1]-[Area 4]
You can set the area of a polygon (up to a hexadecagon) by specifying multiple vertices (up to 16 vertices) on the image. The areas can be set to overlap each other. Please set them in order from Area 1.

Default setting:Full screen for [Area 1];
no setting for [Area 2]/[Area 3]/[Area 4].

・When a detection area (a polygon) is drawn, the area setting is completed by selecting the starting point in the end.

・To change a detection area, click the "Delete" button to delete it, and then set it again.

・The position of the detection frame is the center of the lower side of the objects detection frame. Please set the detection area so that the position of this detection frame falls within the detection area. Refer to “About the detection frame” for details.
8 About the detection frame

[Alarm notification above count threshold]
An alarm will sound if the set count limit is exceeded.
To use the alarm function, please check the "Enable" box in the settings.

configurable range: 1 to 40

Default setting:5
[Alarm notification below count threshold]
An alarm will sound when the count falls below the set number.
To use the alarm function, please check the "Enable" box in the settings.

configurable range: 1 to 40

Default setting: 1
[Enable/Disable setting]
To enable alarm notifications, please check the "Enable" box.
Unchecking the box will disable congestion detection, and the affected area will be displayed with a dashed line.

Default setting: Enabled: [Area 1]
Disable: [Area 2]/[Area 3]/[Area 4]

[Time (sec)]
For each area, an alarm is triggered when the state in which the count exceeds or falls below the configured threshold continues for a specified period of time.
In this setting, you can configure the duration used for this determination.

Configurable range: 0.1 to 3600 (seconds)

Default setting: 10

・The maximum number of objects detected in the image is 40.

・If the number of objects in the image exceeds 40, correct occupancy detection will not be possible since some of the objects cannot be detected.

・The "Below Count Threshold" setting can be used to detect insufficient personnel in areas where at least two workers are required.

・By combining the "Above Count Threshold" and "Below Count Threshold" settings, it is possible to monitor a range of personnel counts.

■ Count Threshold and Alarm Behavior

・When the "Above Count Threshold" is set to 1

→ An alarm is triggered when there is 1 or more person (no alarm when there are 0 people).

・When the "Below Count Threshold" is set to 2

→ An alarm is triggered when there are fewer than 2 people (no alarm when there are 2 or more people).

・When the "Above Count Threshold" is set to 1 and the "Below Count Threshold" is set to 2

→ An alarm is triggered only when there is exactly 1 person (no alarm when there are 0 or 2 or more people).

・When the "Above Count Threshold" is set to 2 and the "Below Count Threshold" is set to 1

→ The condition cannot be satisfied, so no alarm is triggered.
