11.4 Configure the settings relating to image adjust, extra zoom, privacy zone, VIQS, and lens distortion compensation [Image quality]
Click the [Image quality] tab on the “Image/Audio” page. (→9.1 How to display the setup menu, 9.2 How to operate the setup menu)
When the [Setup>>] button of each setting item is clicked, the detailed settings menu will be displayed in a newly opened window. The detailed settings can be configured while monitoring images displayed on the [Image quality] tab.
The settings relating to image adjust, extra zoom, privacy zone, VIQS, and lens distortion compensation can be configured in this section.
[Image adjust]
Click the [Setup>>] button to display the setup menu that can configure the settings relating to image quality. The setup menu will be displayed in a newly opened window. (→11.4.1 Configure the settings relating to image quality (“Image adjust” setup menu))
[Extra zoom]
Click the [Setup>>] button to display the setup menu that can configure the settings relating to extra zoom. The setup menu will be displayed in a newly opened window. (→11.5 Adjust the angular field of view using the extra zoom function)
[Privacy zone]
Click the [Setup>>] button to display the setup menu that can configure the settings relating to the privacy zone. The setup menu will be displayed. (→11.6 Configure the settings relating to the privacy zone (“Privacy zone” setup menu))
[VIQS]
Click the [Setup>>] button to display the setup menu that can configure the settings relating to VIQS. The setup menu will be displayed. (→11.7 Configure the VIQS setting)
VIQS is an abbreviation of Variable Image Quality on Specified area and is a feature that enables you to enhance the image quality of specified areas in images.
[Lens distortion compensation]
Click the [Setup>>] button to display the setup menu that can configure the settings relating to lens distortion compensation. The setup menu will be displayed in a newly opened window. (→11.8 Configure the settings relating to lens distortion compensation)
