How to Add i-PRO Cameras via Cloudlink in Security Center SaaS with Forensic Search

This guide explains the detailed steps for registering a camera with Genetec Cloudlink. It is structured into the following three main steps.

1. Preparation
Prepare the Genetec Cloudlink series hardware and set it up.

2. Camera Registration
Register the camera with Genetec Security Center SaaS using Cloudlink.
2.1 Install AI People and AI Vehicle
If you plan to use Forensic Search, you must install AI People and AI Vehicle on the camera before registering the camera with Security Center SaaS. In the case of Cloudlink, it is not necessary to remove all AI applications.

2.2 Log in to Genetec Security Center SaaS
Log in to your Genetec Security Center SaaS account.
2.3 Add Device
There are two methods for adding a device: Auto Discovery and Add Manually. If the camera is not found using Auto Discovery, please add it manually.
1. Click [+ Add device].
2. Click [Camera] in Step 1: Type.
3. Click [Genetec Cloudlink] in Step 2: Method.
4. Auto discovery will start in Step 3: Activation.
5. Select the target camera and Click [Select(1)].
If the target camera is not displayed, click [add it manually] to register manually.
6. In Step 4: Configuration, If you use auto discovery, select [recording profile].
Enter [Username] and [Password].
Click [Add].
If you use [add it manually], select [Onvif] in [Manufacturer].
Enter [Name], [IP address], [Username], and [Password].
Select the recording profile.
Click [Continue].
7. Click [Close] in Step 5: Summary.
2.4 Setting for Forensic Search
1. Select the target camera and go to [Settings].
2. Check [Enable camera metadata].
3. Forensic Search
1. Click [Operation].
2. In Operation screen, go to [Investigation] and select your target filter.
