Displays UPnP status.

UPnP Status Information

Status Condition (Meaning) Measures
The router was not detected or configuration was unsuccessful. The router does not support UPnP or configuration was unsuccessful.
  • UPnP of the router is set to Disable.
    ==>Set UPnP to Enable by referring to the operating instructions of the router.
  • The router has not UPnP.
    ==>Set port forwarding on the router by following the operating instructions of the router.
  • The power of the router is turned off.
    ==>Turn the router on, and turn the camera on and reboot it.
  • Wrong setting of Network on the camera in case of Static on it.
    ==>Confirm Default Gateway and Subnet mask on setting of Network on the camera.
  • The camera may not be compatible with UPnP function of the router. Set port forwarding on the router by following the operating instructions of the router in that case.
Disabled Automatic Port Forwarding is not used on the camera using UPnP function of the router. Set Network Configuration from Setup Program to Enable to access to the camera from the Internet using UPnP function of the router.
Or set Auto Port Forwarding to Enable in UPnP setting of the camera.
Enabled The setting to access to the camera from the Internet is complete using UPnP function of the router. -
Setup on process Automatic Port Forwarding is used on the camera using UPnP function of the router. Wait. Now is under setting on the router.
Deletion on process Deletion of UPnP setting failed in on the router after setting automatic Port Forwarding on the camera to Disabled. Wait. Now is under deleting the setting of UPnP on the router.
Failed UPnP Configuration Attempt to set automatic port forwarding using UPnP on the router is attempted failed in. it.
Or the camera receives the response of the error in the periodical renewal processing of a port.
  • Ineffective port forwarding on the router with the port assigned on the camera.
    ==>Set Network Configuration from Setup
    Program to Enable to access to the camera from the Internet using UPnP function of the router.
    Allow the port assigned on the camera effective automatically.)
  • The power of the router is turned off.

Display Meaning Cause/Solution

( all zeros ) Normal. -
When any of the following are displayed instead of zeros: 1 to 9, A to F The camera is malfunctioning. Please contact the place of purchase. For additional information, refer to "For product service" found on the back cover of the included "Installation/Troubleshooting" guide.

System log Information

The system log of "login failure" may be left for the camera that applied "Digest" authentication compliant firmware (click here for details) released in June, 2018 when you operate normally. This is not an abnormality of the camera.

Occurrence phenomenon: The system log of "login failure" may be recorded.

Case of occurrence:
1."Initialization of setting data" was carried out with the browser of the camera. To complete setup data initialization without closing the browser, and to continue to register a different user name and password from the last time.
* As the browser accesses the camera with the old user name and password, the system log of "Login failure" may remain.

2. When setting the camera from other equipment such as a recorder, viewnet cam server or the like. When setting up the camera from another device or server, the user name and password held by the camera himself may be inconsistent with the temporary user name and password of another device or server, and the system log of "login failure" There are things that remain.
